Let's be clear, most Canadians do think about our military and support our troops. If you go wandering around Quebec (which doesn't even want to be a part of Canada), liberal cities like Toronto, Ottawa, or Vancouver, then the response is exactly as advertised. Our current government has placed virtue signaling above everything else in his insane bid for power and has straight up endangered our ability to act on the world stage.

It’s funny that they are understaffed. I applied and was ready to do it whole heartedly. I was turned down because of adhd and kidney stones. The idea that I could plausibly be conscripted for WW3 in a year or two is silly. I’m nervous guys. There is a real possibility that we are going to war. Soon. The world is a little too real these days

As a Canadian Justin Trudeau has been stealing money from Canadians for 8 years now , he is a waste of skin , can't even pay into NATO what we're supposed to ... We need a new leader the liberals need to go for ever ....

I was an Infantry soldier in the Cold War. Even back then (Pierre Trudeau’s time), we were always working with old equipment, much of which were from WW2. Our trucks were older than most of the drivers then, but we always managed to soldier on. While on exercise with US troops, we always felt like the poor country cousins however they never made us feel this way. We worked well with the US troops and it was a comforting fact that they had our backs. Our government might have neglected us, but we made do anyway.

As a canadian I feel that this is absolutely disgusting. Too bad it's the truth and we've recently given all of our a military equipment to ukraine. And as a canadian, I also feel that most canadians would actually believe in funding their military forces more. I don't want my sons and daughters going to war with anything less than the best.

Canada always fell in the back of the British they would not let Canadians make their own rules of war ww1 why did Canada have to shoot canadian shoulders because British said so Canadians had to step back in WW2 so the the Americans could look good
arrow air plan the Americans walk in and destroy our plans for new warships Americans had to step in and want to build them Canada had to buy used worn-out submarines from the British looks to me like canadian were shut down their own military needed other countries said no
Middle East we bought a tank from Germany and gave it to the UK more like it has been the Russians have got hold of it to find our technology how
mush money we have sent to the UK we could put into our own military to protect us from the terrorists Donald Trump's war with Israel will end when he gets back in and he will look in helping his buddy Putin out them the UK ww3 does not matter were you are Muslim will be inviting your country

Coming from a Canadian, our leaders are corrupt and our prime minister trudope is worse. Canadians like the United States and I’ve heard Americans say the same back out where I live in Saskatchewan Canada, I think these leaders that have problems with each other start putting their egos aside and start looking at what they’re peoples needs and wants are instead of Nuking and blasting innocent people and children in the process. Nobody wants war! Canada needs a TRUMP not a chump! From what I see in Canada I’d say for the Americans sake’s . LETS GO TRUMP!!! 🇨🇦🇺🇸. Let’s just pray it becomes WORLD PEACE instead of WORLD WAR.

Canada made a big mistake for the future, but at the same time, juicing up Ukraine in its defense, Canada shall not sacrifice itself to others, it was once a deadly team in WW2, USA should give weapons to Canada, to give a head start to the rebuild of Canada's army. If Canada is ever a target, it still has a chance of defending itself If USA acts fast to shield its big brother.

If Canada X USA could become a UNITED ARMY, it could be overpowering the enemies when it comes to numbers.

The Canada government basically militarized the Federal and local police forces to beat down law abiding citizens like the Freedom Convoy as an example.

Technically the government cannot use the military against it's own citizens, but have been using Federal and local police forces to jack boot it's citizens.

Canada spends money on it’s people. More money from GDP goes to its residents than the US. I’m very proud that the priority hasn’t gone to weapons! And the reality is most Canadians don’t want more money going to weaponry, and don’t think it’s a priority. This isn’t the US! And obviously the US would never have a land war with Canada!😂 Not to mention we have more natural resources, which they definitely need, without our water sources alone many in the US would go thirsty. But more importantly, Canada is a peace keeping country, unlike the US. And our military is used as such around the world with tremendous success. Our priorities are very different, and so are our conflicts, our international reputation is also very different. Not being viewed as a nuclear threat, isn’t necessarily a bad thing when it comes to international relations.
This video is obviously a completely American point of vue, and there is a lot of important information missing. And just in case anyone wondered, the last major conflict to take place in Canada was in 1812.

As Canadian, we are not fighters. We are peace keepers, it’s a Canadian value. Less military spending and less Canadians dying in foreign wars. It’s very expensive to raise a Canadian we have cradle to grave social safety net. We don’t have a large population, so we place value in peace, friendliness and life. We are not aggressive people, look at our protests, we are lucky to get 20-50pc lol together to fight for something, apathetic political population.

Canada does have LNG terminals on the east coast. I have done work there. Also, as a Canadian, I would gladly pay more tax to upgrade our military. I think spending should be 2.2-2.3% of GDP. The Canadian government is so afraid to increase our national dept, and put their jobs at risk during elections, that they would rather see the world burn around us than share the pain with the rest of the world. That's pathetic Justin....and I am a Liberal!
