Here in veneto the indipendence movement is still pretty strong but the local government isnt brave enough to break away from italy, there was even a coup d'etat in 1997 , when some Venetian people tried to occupy venuce with a home made tank. They kept control of the san square for nine hours but then they got arrested. I think its impossible that italy will let us ve indipendent, but we can try to get autonony for our region.

just FYI there is absolutely no independence movements in california. only people who have ever called for Californian secession are political whack jobs trying to get clout.

Flemish is not an official language. The official language in Flanders is Dutch and the differences between Dutch Dutch and Belgian Dutch are similar to British and American English, so a slightly different pronunciation and some other words, but Dutch and Flemish people can easily communicate.

As a Californian, If we were to be Independent, It would be really Unstable because there is a very large population of Conservatives in the Northern part of the State (who want to succeed from California to create a new State within the U.S). It couldn’t succeed unless Northern California Stayed as It’s own state, It wouldn’t work. Besides I want to stay American. 🇺🇸

This is complete nonsense. The only "independence" any region in Russia wants is independence from Putin and his corrupt warmonger cronies. And then whatever the video, then Kaliningrad will become an independent republic, then Ingria is separated. Do Petersburgers know that they are Ingrians?

There are several other independence movements in the US besides California. Texas has whined about being part of the US for decades and many Texans insist that they can legally break away if they want to. Washington and Oregon have the cascadia movement. Vermont has an independence movement. The likelihood of any of these actually breaking away is small but they do help to instill a strong independent streak in state-level politics and governance which is how it should be.

Another lead to California possibly splitting (which I don't see too likely) is most definitely also the other US citizens.
