How to Install APK Files in Android Studio Emulator (3 Methods)

but what if i have to make changes in these projects as i was trying it was not allowing mee to Edit or make changes ??

when I try to install an apk it says " adb: failed to install test.apk: Failure [INSTALL_PARSE_FAILED_NO_CERTIFICATES: Failed to collect certificates from /data/app/vmdl1504040579.tmp/base.apk: Attempt to get length of null array]"

what does that mean?

Hey, maybe I'm asking a stupid question, but where to download the .apk file of a given application?

I have tried same steps howvr unable to see installed App though it said success in both drag and drop or command line options. I am using latest Emulator which is embedded with Android Studio

You can directly open any device that you want in emulator and then drag & drop the apk in the device. That's it.

Never had this as an issue but I think this depends on emulator.
