Bruce is the goat bar none..I'm seen them in 82 they did this song it was perfect....absolutely perfect changed my life at 17 yrs old

it might have been after this that he had throat cancer but I believe he is still touring

To fully appreciate Bruce it would be best to listen to his vocals before he recovered from throat cancer. Gigs from the 80's n 90's are him at peak.

I'm watching your video again, one year later because you brought me to Iron Maiden finally. I learned to love this band in a way i can't describe it not exactly enough in english.
This reaction video from you, is something very precious and unique for me. The combination of this overwhelming performance, your excited reactions and honestly you, as a REALLY beautiful and attractive woman....is just wonderful to watch.

The amazing thing about this performance is its the last encore of a 2 hour set... of other similarly extreme energy songs.
I saw them in England in June this year, 15 years on from this performance, still absolutely phenomenal. Bruce had to retire from being an airline pilot (hes too old) so he has grown his hair again

I dunno why people react to this live version, the 2012 En Vivo was objectively the best performance of this song.

how did you manage to not react to metallicas no leaf clover of 1999?

I was in a bad car wreck in '08 and while I was in a coma I kept pulling the tube in and of my throat, damaging my vocal cords. One of the cords is bowed so I have a gap, the folds don't close all the way. It's kinda mostly better now but still.

I know this is late, but you should really listen to the "Live After Death" album versions of the classic Iron Maiden songs to hear Bruce, and the band, in their prime...

Better voice when he was younger. More of everything and the energy he had was unending.

I'm surprised, I see a lot of vocal coaches and usually they comment on Bruce's extremely clear annunciation even while belting.

Damn, you can really hear the bass by Steve Harris in this live performance =) Not that I should be surprised.

Came to this video as a LONG TIME Iron Maiden fan and enjoyed it. As an aside, is it just me, or is Australia blessed with some of the most beautiful women on the planet? I've been all over the world but have never been to Australia. I'm going to HAVE to change that.

I went to see iron Maiden on Cologne last year, and I'm going to see them in Manchester this month. Bruce is now 64, and whilst there is a small loss, you would honestly be gobsmacked at how well he still carries it.

Every time I see a live performance of this and Bruce gets the crowd going at that bit after the solos, it gives me goosebumps. Bit gutted they're not playing Hallowed on this tour. But still can't wait to see them in Glasgow in a few weeks.

Gorgeous is every way I can imagine. Please don't think I am belittling your intellect, I am speaking of your humor and wit as well. Wow. Oh, Bruce is awesome also.
