Starting with the guy giving the trac it was like, it became harder for me to understand the English of the people the guys were meeting. I'm from CIS, btw, so I don't mean that they speak English somehow “wrong”, rather the opposite, but still.... English on the west coast seems to be different enough from the east coast

"You cannot help people who are not willing to help themselves" is very VERY true. I'm guilty of that too, I'm stubborn and its hard for me to change and let people in despite needing that help desperately. I've been a lot better in the recent years though, letting myself be vulnerable and not relying on external motivation but working up my own instead.

Interesting it seems people regardless of part of the country say you can’t stay with them also state “you won’t find a place”. A mindset of no way I would so nobody would… something I’ve seen in my life, and the opposite is also true. I’ll let you stay here and I hope to do the same someday or burst of luck guys

I took greyhound from Albuquerque into Lubbock. Then from Lubbock into Dallas. Was an awesome trip. I love Lubbock.
