This is absolutely ridiculous to have to reset her chair by going through all this hassle will never buy a La-Z-Boy product again I am 70 years old and my wife is 69 and it’s just turned out to be a big pain and this is happened to us now over a half a dozen times I want to call the store and give them the message and everyone else should also yeah the instructions are good but why should you have to go through all of this when you pay $3000 or more for a recliner?
ОтветитьMy chair didn't have 9 volt batteries installed, and my remote didn't beep, but it does work again 🎉
ОтветитьCant say enough for your help. Have to refer back to your video every now and then.
Simple to the point step by step.
To encourage and help you, you should do more videos. You have great mannerism, clear, concise, good voice and tone.
Two La Z Boys, three weeks old, both stop working. I followed the video, one worked - once. The other not at all.
ОтветитьThe "find me" button is a magnifying glass, not an hour glass. This was an instructional video otherwise, unfortunately it didn't fix the remote that wasn't working on our sofa, even when trying fresh batteries.
ОтветитьThank you!! Exactly what I needed to know to fix my 89yo Mother's remote!
Ответитьthis video was perfect. easy to understand, clear instructions and it worked. thanks
ОтветитьNot an "hourglass". That's a "magnifying glass".
ОтветитьWhen do we reinstall the 9V batteries in the power supply?
ОтветитьI must be the only idiot to watch this video.
I payed close attention.
I removed batteries. Didn't know the 9 volts existed.
There were no 9 volts in my box.
Then I think he says push the find button prior to saying replace batteries into the remote.
I actually found another video by a dealer that got my chair working properly.
What do the 9 volts do?
Love the chair.
I found the remote in a drawer one year after getting chair. Having 4 adjustments is so much nicer than the two I had using only the side of the chair buttons.
Worked perfect. Thank you for your help!
ОтветитьI am just going to send a copy of my receipt to the President of the company (of course he reads all mail). And I am going to figure out how I can send this back, take this back....do anything. It just doesn't make any sense. This video was helpful the first few times I had to reset the chair, now not so much. The bigger question.....Why do you have to reset it when, the power hasn't went off, you haven't moved the chair. I will keep trying, I will keep posting until I get this figured out. After my 5 th try today...to frustrated to try again today.
ОтветитьI just tried it again. Same results. The chair didn't come with 9 volt batteries. I never even knew that it was supposed to with no instruction manual. I have had more problems since I put batteries in it than I did before. I guess it will be a rocking chair instead of a rocker recliner. If I could figure out how to disconnect all of the power I would just use it as a regular recliner. I will try the primitive reset technology again.
ОтветитьI have owned Lazy boy recliners for over 30 years. I recently purchased this one with the remote. If I had to do it over again I wouldn't. There was not an instructional Manual with the chair. I am 67 years old, and having to do a magic show to reset the remote is ridiculous. I have done it successfully a few times with this video. I have tried it repeatedly since then and cannot get it to work. Great cardio workout to get out of chair unplug it, take batteries out. Get a paperclip and hopefully it resets. Admittedly I am no technology giant mind but I grew up with operator assisted phone calls, rotary dial phones...this seems familiar technology to rotary dial phones. I wish I had my money back and my old chair..
ОтветитьII
ОтветитьYour pairing method steps failed for us. We found that we had to push and hold the “find me button”, THEN the chair beeped repeatedly and then pushed the reset pin on remote. Slightly different than your steps.
Ответитьthere is no button that says "do not disturb!" thankfully, you showed a picture of the slide switch for lock and unlock ...you said to take batteries out of remote and out of the power pack. you said when to replace batteries in the remote and said nothing about the power pack. fortunately, no batteries are needed in the power pack at all! you made a complicated procedure even more confusing.
ОтветитьGreat! Thanks! Just what I needed! Thanks for being there -- worked perfectly!
ОтветитьWe received two new lazy boy chairs two months ago. Both remotes work great but we received no paperwork. My issue is none of the buttons on the side of the chairs have ever worked. What should I do? Our box for the 9 volt batteries does not have any batteries in it either.
ОтветитьWe bought 2 different LazBoy recliners a year ago with wireless remotes and are having problems with both remotes frequently disconnecting from the chairs. What a pain!!! Who wants to spend that much $$$ and then have to put up with this nuisance. We are tired of repeating this video procedure!!!
