Love seeing her. Please have her more often!!
ОтветитьYAYYY I LOVE STEPHANIE
ОтветитьCan you do one of these for student teacher relationships?
ОтветитьAn episode about family and there's no Fast and Furious? Disappointed....
ОтветитьI want to see her react the shameless dynamics so bad!
ОтветитьIf think about it, Darth Vader and the Emperor are treating Luke like he is an assassin trained by Obi-Wan to take them down. This is basically the instance that Darth Vader actually sets a trap for anyone, since he doesn't really know Luke's capabilities, he was actually extremely cautious(for him) in the Carbonite Chamber. His intention was to manuever Luke into the Carbonite chamber, and freeze him. when Luke escaped the chamber, Vader is left with disarm the threat, through the fight he realizes that Luke is not fully trained and most certainly not the threat Obi Wan once was, and he switches to persueding Luke as soon as he disarms Luke, Vader has to honor the threat that Luke potentially is. Luke is a military threat so family dynamics is not really the right viewpoint to look at that scene with. The Father-son talk during The Return of the Jedi is a much more appropriate family dynamic moment.
ОтветитьDo Rick and Morty
ОтветитьWe love Stefanie!
ОтветитьI'd love to see this therapist look at the scene in Season 1 of Breaking Bad where the family gets together to talk about Walt's cancer diagnosis.
ОтветитьBut why do we need to pander to people who have less control of their emotions and can’t use reason?
Ответить151 7
ОтветитьI loved this! And she is soooo educational and well spoken
ОтветитьI need an entire analysis on Turning Red.
ОтветитьI don't know what's heavier her conversation or chest
Ответить"You're trying to develop a relationship that you've watched other people have, without the tools in order to do that."
That really hit me hard
I have never seen pink eyeshadow look better. This is how it's done! Beautiful human.
ОтветитьPlease do a whole episode about Tony Soprano and his mother
ОтветитьI like Stephanie's reactions to a lot of these videos I really liked how she her explanations and what the therapeutic outcomes of this was and I really liked it
ОтветитьTurning Red was really relatable as a child of immigrants. I lost a possible romantic relationship because I felt like it wasn’t gonna be accepted but it was completely natural for my friends. That scene where Mei had to suppress her anger is a toxic part of elder respectability culture - you suppress a justified part of yourself to keep the peace but at the cost of your inner voice. It does make it harder to stand up for yourself as an adult but it can be done. These things are skills and it’s never too late to learn them!
ОтветитьLove steph.
ОтветитьI absolutely love these breakdowns! 💕
ОтветитьI hope she does another video with Everybody Loves Raymond or Roseanne
ОтветитьDo breaking bad
Ответитьplease let her do the haunting of hill house!!
Ответить"You can't physically abandon your kid without emotionally abandoning them first"
💯💯👏🏿👏🏿
this was so lovely
ОтветитьI truly loved her input. This video was too short, she should come back a lot more
ОтветитьI love this content! I think it could be helpful, especially for younger people, to see this type of content to make better sense of their favorite movies/shows.
Ответить"... Luke looks deceived"
Well, aparently when they shoot the scene with the actor in the Darth Vader suit, he was saying "Obi-Wan killed your father" as a way to trick everyone in the studio so the big revelation happened on the premiere, and no one could tell before (the movie was shot over a year before)
I'm so happy they brought StephAnya back! Love her breakdowns!
ОтветитьLoveeee Stephanie Yates Anyabwile
ОтветитьSteph Anya is THE BEST!!!!!!!!! PERIOD!!!!
ОтветитьLove her eyeshadow matching her nails 😍💕
ОтветитьI love the insight on these movies & shows. More of this please!
ОтветитьOkayyyy Vanity Fair snap snap
ОтветитьSo much fun! Thanks for having me. I’m loving reading all of your comments!
ОтветитьTurning red was exactly what happened to me as a kid
And when I finally thought I was over it, it happened again as an adult
At this point it isn’t fear for a kid but clearly control and manipulating
This girl never watched the sopranos AJ is a manipulative, coward, show off, false tough guy
ОтветитьI’m surprised a Modern Family clip hasn’t been chosen. Good vid!
ОтветитьLMAOOOO I need to see her session with Luke and Vader
ОтветитьReally?
We're sending Vader and Luke to therapy??? :P
The Vader stuff is on point, especially if you see their relationship in return of the jedi where Vader actually is more open and even sincere.
ОтветитьIn the turning red, I felt that Stephanie literally read me. Like I was like that for a while but later on I let myself feel what I needed to feel, and try not to let my parents tell me what I should do or can do. Still working on it, but turning red is a movie that speaks to me as a Vietnamese American.
Ответить“You just cut my arm off… like is this really the time for that revelation?” 😂
ОтветитьWhat, no Game of Thrones?
ОтветитьI love how she sincerely gave a parenting advice to Darth Vader (he sure needed one!)
ОтветитьThis was really cool to see. I remember I took Family Communication in college and it was so cool the things I had learned. We literally had to choose a movie, watch it and use the tools we learned to analyze it. I learned about the Heroes, Scapegoats, Enablers etc. And also that you can't resolve issues in 30 min sitcoms LOL (but we know it's tv so we take what we can get)
ОтветитьI skipped the Kardashians 🙄
ОтветитьI hope most families don’t have a dynamic like Vader and Luke
ОтветитьI love this kind of content. And she should definitely be on cinema therapy once.... that would be so cool
