How do you transfer your paintings into vectors/images?? do you use a scanner, could I know the specifications of the kinds of tools used?? Thank you for this video it is extremely helpful.
Ответитьthis is incredible!! can you tell us which skillshare classes you watched while learning? 🤩
ОтветитьSuch a wonderful journey, sounds very similar to how I started with pattern making :) It is so addicting and rewarding once you get the hang of it. Can't wait to see more, thanks for sharing :)
Ответитьyour designs are beautiful. especially the beta fish and the oranges.
ОтветитьThis is wonderful. Thank you for sharing your journey and process in such an honest, charming and self-deprecating way. 😊
ОтветитьHi Sarah, I just found your channel and am so excited! I have recently started my own journey into surface pattern design (I’m a Speech-Language Pathologist by day) and I love this video! All of the people I follow are already successful working professionals in the field and it’s refreshing to “meet” someone who is only a few months ahead of where I am. Thanks so much for sharing!
ОтветитьI L❤VE the very first pattern that u made. It’s so cute!
ОтветитьI want to make a plan to develop my drawing with flowers. Can you help me with that? I would be grateful to you. For example, every week. What should I do? I love flowers and making patterns from them? Currently considered lost
ОтветитьWhat a great video! I did Bonnie’s Immersion course back when Covid hit. Well. I started it, then we realised the house was submerging and one corner needed to be lifted, and that took about 6 months to clear the room, take stuff to a storage shed etc, and by then I was back at work, which was devastating. So, 3 years later, I’m getting back on track, still a newbie, and I have bought Affinity Designer 2 (and also own Affinity Colour), because I own it outright and won’t have expensive monthly payments. So I’m learning that as I go too.
Loved seeing your progress! Thankyou! I’ve just started Stacie Bloomfield’s ‘Leverage Your Art’ and am going at a snail’s pace, but it’s now or never. And I’m so excited to continue.
This is super cool! I recently got it in my head that I'd like to learn how to make patterns/surface designs, and seeing your process is really inspiring! I have no idea where to start though, haha.
ОтветитьCan you share that free 5 days course?
ОтветитьI love all of them! My favourite was definitely the blue flowers. I'd love to see a tutorial on how to paint them. 💙
ОтветитьI’d love to see more of your process… just found your channel … thanks for sharing your experience ❤
ОтветитьPS: I love Dune :)))))
ОтветитьVery nice work. Where do you get your ideas from?
Ответитьim an aspiring pattern designer too. Your patterns are so cute! Glad i found this video
ОтветитьLoved seeing your progress! You also have a great editing style, excited to see your channel grow :]
ОтветитьFish are animals. Animals is the larger group that includes most of the non plant, and non fungi forms of life.
ОтветитьI love the progression. The jellies are my favorite!
ОтветитьI love how much you experimented with different techniques!
ОтветитьI love watching your progress! I just saved a bunch of skillshare classes of patterns to try (without tech for now 😅)
ОтветитьGreat progress! I loved the style and colour (depth/contrast) of the second giraffes, and the chintz doll wallpaper ✨🌙✨
ОтветитьYour spoonflower link doesn't go to your profile, just the spoonflower home page. ✌🏼
ОтветитьVery Cool!
Ответитьthis is really interesting, your progression is amazing! ☺
ОтветитьI think the baked goods ones would look great scaled down on an apron or kitchen towel set! They looked great! The updated jellyfish pattern definitely made me go oooooooo lol, that’s my fav!
ОтветитьI'd love to know how to do the abstract patterns in photoshop, or even the yellow filler patterns. Any skillshare vlasses you can recommend. Your progress is astounding and your paintings are wonderful. So talented
ОтветитьI love your abstract fish pattern. It looks stunning and would make a great fabric design for a dress or home decor. The motifs look like floral fish to me--so pretty and lush. Nice color scheme as well.
ОтветитьI really like the latest blue floral pattern on the black. I love that you are documenting your surface pattern design journey. Thanks for sharing & keep showing up! 👏
ОтветитьI can't believe you painted those mushrooms with your non-dominate hand!! I had to pause just to comment on how wonderful it looks - like the colors and textures, it'd make a wonderful piece of apparel. It's crazy I was just getting into surface pattern design a few months back but lost some steam for it recently. I'm so use to using adobe illustrator and vectors everyday i forget photoshop is just as viable..
I took a Bonnie Christine skillshare class as a start - would you mind recommending some skillshare surface pattern course?
Also thank you for sharing such a great timeline of progress - it's amazing to see how far you've gone in just a few months! I really adore that beta fish pattern - your style grew into something very lush. 🥰
I love seeing your amazing pattern progress! (I was in Immersion 2022.) So many fun patterns! Your orcas are beautiful and your recent blue floral is gorgeous.
ОтветитьReally lovely to see your progression. Great inspirational video, thank you.
ОтветитьQuite the fast track journey! My favorite is the last one, the pretty blue flowers❤
ОтветитьI can definitely see your style coming through more and more as you progress and this really motivated me to keep going! The wobbly mushrooms are my fave :)
ОтветитьHi Sarah, it's amazing how have you progressed. I started in beginning of April and my best ones look still faaaar away from your "not satisfactory" ones that you made in the beginning. I wish I had more time to actually be able to have space to systematically work on it... Well hopefully I will get better by time, just much more slowly
Ответить7 months in and I still don’t know what surface pattern design is!! Fun to see all this progress, you are pretty incredible. 🤩
