Idk if I'm just crazy, but i always figured that the sea people were the people who formed the neo Assyrian empire. After the bronze age collapse they just sort of pop up. Its circumstantial evidence at best, but it seems kinda suspicious that they would all of a sudden have wealth and military great enough to control an empire. I'm sure legitimate scholars have thought of that and know why it's wrong. 🤷‍♀️

I'm a camera guy professionally and so don't really have a reason to be here. Doesn't mean I need one! The history of man kind and the things people have revered, the wars fought over resources or beliefs, the diversity of people's origins, and the ideas traded throughout... these things give context and with that a certain objectivity. At least for me. When non historians argue about who's land belongs to them, who's religion is correct, who's ideas are worthy, I like to look back at topics like the one covered in this video for some truth behind the matter. So many were killed with so much destruction, that Egypt was never the same afterwards! The sea people's were as many as 10 different people's from all over the areas around Egypt, that joined together to survive a series of unprecedented catastrophes. Many of those people were originally mercenaries because of their skills. So they knew the weaknesses of the lands they conquered. The destruction effected all towns and cities, the death toll was in the millions! But to blame the sea people's as the only cause of the collapse is wrong!
