The Dualsense is not the only one with that option, Thrustmaster makes a controller with its whole thing being that you can swap modules in and out. Besides, stick drift wouldn't be such an issue if they'd stop being cheap and put decent hall-effect thumbsticks in. The Guilikit King Kong Pro is a decent option that I have had for a while now which y'all should look into if you aren't using it with a console (aside from a Switch (and maybe a PS, but I can't remember off of the top of my head), since it natively supports that).

i own all of these, and i can confidently tell you the victrix is shit. the fight pad is nice because of the mech switches but thats it. the best controller on the planet right now, without a doubt, is the SCUF ENVISION PRO. objectively, it has no equal, I promise you.

Stick drift can be fixed with hall effect sticks.

Ok now the only reason im here is to see what is each controllers battery life other then that as long as it works for atleast a year with zero issues I'll be happy with it!

At that price they all are, there should be a replacement of the stick. Getting in 4 weeks playing COD already getting stick drifting on both dual sensors, ps5 with both controllers are 6 weeks old. So the only option would be the edge from sony for a replacement. Don't care what "pro's" are using. They're getting it for nothing or for a huge discount just to marketing the brand they're using. It's in all "sports". Next big thing users should consider is the helpdesk of a brand. Not in the mood to pay for service that takes weeks for a replacement or can't get in contact for a issue of their product. Never had any issue with Sony. Stick shifting in COD comes by hitting the the L3 and R3. Looks like that's a bad combination for me, if those buttons could go to the back of the controller then it would be great. Going to buy me a edge or a NACON Revolution 5 Pro PS5 ( reading online, they're lacking warranty of a decent helpdesk) and find out this afternoon- and sending both controllers back to Sony for repair.

Does the Victrix have a gyro? Strange you are reviewing these using Fortnite (the game with the undisputedly greatest amount of gyro options in the whole PS library) and not commenting on the gyro on any of the controllers.

If anybody wants the best keyboard and mouse for gaming, look for the Wooting 60HE and the Lamzu Atlantis Mini 4K. Best on the market. Make sure you research which mousepad you want with those though.

Hey man so I’ve only ever used just a regular ps5 controller and I only play nba2k 24 and no other games so I’m just now looking into controllers, but I don’t play any FPS games so I was wondering what you think the best option would be? Also what do the paddles do on the back of the controller you were talking about? Thx

It seems PS have no cheaper alternative controllers with back buttons / paddles, these controllers are all well over twice as much as some Xbox alts

Ngl, you don’t need more than 2 paddles unless you play Fortnite. It’s pretty much the only game you will ever see professional players use more than 2 paddles considering all the different buttons needed for binds

So I ordered a Scuf Reflex FPS last month, broke in ONE week returned it. ADS trigger had a slight mechanical issue caused my ADS to release mid fights..disgusting build quality on every single section of Reflex FPS, actually unbelievable for $249. Today I picked up the PS Edge for competitive COD and its 1000x better. Perfection. Paddles way better quality/placement. 2 year premium best buy warranty unlimited replacements. Can remove sticks for new ones and revert to zero stick drift. Lastly, the #1 “issue” people say is the short trigger isnt short enough, FALSE, the full motion top to down looks deep, but the action is triggered WAY before you reach the bottom, compared to mouse clicks on my Scuf Reflex it’s completely negligible.. also latest firmware using PC app apparently made my polling rate 1ms and I didn’t even overclock it with software which is confusing, maybe Sony changed the input delay with firmware, I tested on Xinput. Edge = #1 hands down. Build + warranty is unmatched in the market.

my dse controller only works on apex w steam when i try to play other games it doesnt read any inputs, tried epic, battle net, origin... i have used ds4 and dsx (apps) to try and solve the problem but have zero luck. i tried to fix for 5 hours during mw3 beta. crazy to spend 200$ and not be able to play any games besides apex (atleast its my fav game)

Scuf doesn’t have stick drift issues, it has the most sales for 3rd party so we just see the most complaints, ALL modded ps5 controllers have stick drift issues, I’ve literally bought stock controllers and returned them because of drift out of the box

Duel sense edge is by far the best but it only has 2 back buttons😢. It’s a deal breaker for me personally because back buttons can make your gameplay so much faster and better

Scuff controller feels so cheap to me and I got stick drift 6 months in send it off took 6 weeks to get back.
