They way she kept saying "Product" really hit me.....
ОтветитьExperience beats education any day. That being said, you should get it if your company is paying for it.
ОтветитьMBA degree is cent per cent producing economic slaves & only theoretical degree. No innovation & make students dependent on companies ownera rather they may become entrepreneurs.
Mushroom growth of CAs, ACCAs, CMA, CFA, MBA & Accounting degree have deprived young worker from their due designation.
Want to learn business then start a business
ОтветитьI graduated from BU last year in business administration, and is doing MBA at questrom this fall. Hopefully it helps my career.
ОтветитьPromote from within is good idea
ОтветитьDang, business people seem fake!
Ответитьthe mba after your grad is a waste of money (as you finish the Mba, you override your grad diploma)
the mba is worth after you have some experience and understand what a business is.
It doesn’t matter how you got your MBA, it’s all about the cost and the connections you make.
ОтветитьAh Jason's hard-hitting story title is like an episode of Rocky and Bullwinkle...join us next time for "Is business school worth it or How do you say online education is worthless without saying online education is worthless." You put the "k" in kaulity reporting there Jason.
ОтветитьThe journalist was great, and the dean was transparent giving honest response like terming education as business and courses as products which is pretty rare nowdays.
ОтветитьWhat everyone should remember is what students learn in their MBA classes will be outdated in mere few years. In the US market at least, a traditional MBA is a tool to grow your network and pivot or advance your career. Online MBA would be mostly for internal advancement.
Ответить2 years later and all the top companies are paying more money for top shelf graduates with MBA’s. It’s even more lucrative now to go into consulting in the business administration world.
ОтветитьTalking about low MBA admissions , India like ,"Hold my beer , let me show ya how it is done "!!!lol
ОтветитьAs someone who grew up with blue collar parents, the Ivy League MBA taught me how corporate America works and how to talk the talk walk the walk, and how to sort of fit in, i sound smarter, I can BS my way through a hard question, but in gaining real skills that improve the world, it’s a waste of time. It’s good for getting a traditional job in the corporate world, lock in a relatively comfy upper middle class 200k a year income, and open some doors for certain professions, like finance and consulting. You don’t gain real skills in demand however.
ОтветитьMBA students are all cash cows 🐮
Ответить24k for MBA is cheap from Boston University. Univ of Michigan, UNC, and Cornell all have an MBA for over 110k
ОтветитьI dropped out of a top-30 MBA program because I felt it was just repackaged common sense and a huge waste of my time. I now run my own business and make high six-figures. Never felt that I was missing anything that I couldn't learn on my own from the internet.
ОтветитьAn MBA is a degree that is highly political. Basically it’s more of who you know and not what you know. University ranking is a big deal as it can easily make or break your chances of getting an interview. I talked to a lot of MBA’s and the grind post education is hard. Most of them opted to go back to school in some type of medical discipline. But hey if you know someone already, or just need a way to justify a higher salary in your current position I say go for it.
ОтветитьIt is with experience or particular specialized foundation.
ОтветитьSuch a waste of $. Blame the company. Musk looks down on MBA.
ОтветитьI've found the biggest problem presented by others has been APPLICATION. I can see in documents the "book-learning" used in completely wrong contexts or not used at all. I've fixed a frightening number of simple & breathtaking error's in Company Accounts over the years. Purportedly done by "very qualified" people. With no common sense or concept of logic or reality.
ОтветитьGaining a hard skill, like coding, data, etc. is worth so much more than an MBA
ОтветитьThey failed to mention that the online MBA means you can work so your opportunity costs are reduced as you can earn while you are still learning.
Ответить30 000 emails is svp marketing, so i got my mba
Ответитьjokes on them those kids ended up taking online classes anyway, due to covid, and probably paid just as much as they did before for those classes
ОтветитьI’m not comfortable with calling an academic program a product.
ОтветитьThe student stories are strong & consistent overall, but Nari is coping: she studied the wrong engineering (chemical) and transitioned far away with a job at Amazon after the MBA. The technical world is full of leaders without MBA (Lisa Su, Pat Gelsinger, Anne Wojcicki, Eric Yuan).
ОтветитьOnline MBA won't dilute the Traditional MBA program so long as Online MBA students have a successful career. That metric alone would boost the schools reputation. Maybe that is why BU's OBMA program targets professionals that have leadership potential with an average of 10 years of experience.
ОтветитьAnd the pandemic threw a monkey wrench on all MBA programs. Online MBA’s are meant for older professionals who want a degree to move within their company and their industry. Residential MBAs are for younger students that want, need and crave the social component of an in-person MBA. I’m glad I chose the online option.
ОтветитьThis video seems like an MBA commercial and not a balanced view on if an MBA is worth it.
ОтветитьIt’s good if you get into a top school, like everything related to colleges/unis
ОтветитьNO😅
ОтветитьI got mine for free through my company. Totally worth it
ОтветитьStudy LL.M better
ОтветитьMBA is not worth it.. Start a small business
ОтветитьThat introduction of the students felt right out of the focus group from Silicon Valley
ОтветитьThat introduction of the students felt right out of the focus group from Silicon Valley
ОтветитьMBAs will be replaced by AI
ОтветитьMBA is getting outdated. Academics could be learnt online so its no value, networking? What could u get out of networking with people with similar YOE? It is prob excuse to be a student again for rich people or maybe makes sense only if ur company pays for it.
ОтветитьMBAs are systematically destroying industry in the United States of America. They are a plague upon our society.
ОтветитьNow, the trend to MBA is increasing.
ОтветитьYES 6-10 YRS UNDER THE BELT BEFORE APPLYING. 100
TOUGH.
IM A TEACHER WHOSE EVOLVED INTO A WITCH DOCTOR ENTREPRENEUR
ОтветитьYOU ONLY LIVE ONCE....MIGHT AS WELL LOL😂
Ответитьhow is the MBA tend today in 2024. Need another video i guess to know the numbers
Ответитьget your MBA to improve your Life, there's no decline from international students
ОтветитьFor anyone considreing MBA, please have at least 3-5 years of work experience along with being in management roles. It will provide a lot more value in your day-to-day tasks as well as help you get ahead in your career.
ОтветитьI immediately distrust MBAs
Ответить
