There is a theory going about in science fiction that if an alien comes here, or we go there, we should see a veterinarian for health instead of a doctor. The thought is that the vet would have handled a more varied group of problems and dilemmas.

i always knew house wasn’t the most 100% probably not even 50% accurate doctor show, obviously i don’t think any doctor show is 100% accurate, but i do love house, 🫢 it’s a good show 😀 lol

Oh c'mon now Dr. Mike, don't tell me that a damn good looking fella such as yourself who's ALSO a friggin' doctor doesn't have a most exciting and eventful sex life... Maybe not like with coworkers or anything cuz you're smarter/better than that, but I would imagine that you have absolutely no issues attracting women (or men, or both; you know whatever does it for ya man) whatsoever. I mean I'm an entirely heterosexual male myself, but even I know enough to see that you're a handsome guy and a fine catch for anyone who's interested. I mean I do have eyes and pulse afterall...

I believe that she had a focal to bilateral tonic-clonic seizure and not a generalised tonic-clonic seizure one since the first few seconds showed her speaking gibberish, which would point to it being localised to the frontal lobe.

Something with House that you come to understand is that he is obsessed with “solving the puzzle.” He doesn’t care so much for the patient’s well being as much as he does figuring out what’s wrong with them and fixing it. He needs to win.

My problem with the show is it makes it appear as if nurses don't do anything and doctors do everything including everything that the nurses would be doing. As a nurse for over 30 years I am a bit offended by this. Otherwise, I love the show.

THAT WAS A GOOD EPISODE. WHEN I HAD MY VHS PLAYER WHAT EIGHT SEASONS. UNTIL REALITY HITS NOT ENTERTAINING ANYMORE. ESPECIALLY FOR COMBAT MEDICS.

I'm pretty sure house getting the vicodin was for himself because he does take vicodin for his leg pain and just swapped it out for sugar pills for the placebo effect

Pilot had some sketchy medical inaccuracies because it's a pilot. I think the medical consultant came later.

@Doctor Mike; House takes Vicodin for the pain in his leg; his ex-wife accidentally shot him; but gradually over the progression of the show; he becomes more addicted to the Vicodin and it is a wonder how he had not dropped dead from an overdose at his age already.

I am never claustrophobic; I constantly have anxiety-like feelings running through my head but I do not know why I always do and yet I never hyperventilate because my anxiety is not an episodic thing with me and I do not think the cause is due to the usual fears of heights or even bug/animal related fears that I still have, and I am still trying to get over my fear of animals; and I do like animals.

We could watch House a million times and we will still remain confused as heck; But House is still one of my favorite shows.

Sex on tv is more common than sex in movies.
