ok I am all for saving money but some of these are just stupid, go spend the dollar or 2 on the right tool for the job and stop ruining more expensive items to make something, FFS a cable clamp is 99 cents each and a proper wood/metal clamp can be gotten for a dollar or 2.

Note to all: Don't mix copper with other metals, especially in outdoor settings... When wet, this forms a battery which will rapidly consume the other metal, resulting in failure.
Same with Stainless, though copper and stainless are probably OK, providing it's not in salt water.
Look up electrolysis to learn about this problem.
