I too was getting sold on this thing. Im a nerd; When I see something like this or gadget I didn’t know about? I have to have it. Let me join the chorus: hell no to a subscription. HELL TO THE NO.

How does it loose water??? Isn’t it a closed system? The only way it should loose water if it has some sort if humidifier function but you said it only needs a top off every few months so it can’t be that… Inquiring minds want to know!

Imagine suffering from insomnia and depression and buying this thing to have at least a nice bed setting and boom you’re getting bashed by the app for not sleeping

I looked into getting one of these, but then noped out when I saw the subscription. As soon as I saw this video’s title, I knew what the infuriating part was.

If i buy this product for $2100 and live for another 45 years it will cost me $10,200. I'm still waiting for objective data that this actually helps you get better sleep. So far there's 0 evidence it does. No thanks.

This would be great for renters or areas with insane summers to keep electricity costs down. I know as a renter, window AC units just can't out pace the summer heat. But a big clear NOPE on the subscription. I also don't like that there's no manual hardware settings. I cannot stand the idea of another "tracker" just for them to profit off my personal habits. Who knows how much they're selling that data for.

The concept of this subscription inspires such incredible rage in me. it’s an abuse.

Don't reward these companies who ruin a product if you don't pay them monthly. Don't buy their products.

Agreed...I hate the name. Granted, it’s not a dealbreaker but although I can’t exactly explain why, it really bothers me. The “eight”....it’s stupid.

Hey man. I've watched pretty much all your videos (really enjoying the whole "learning to ride" series. Or.. did, while it lasted).
One thing that has really stuck out to me - hear me out - is how fit/good looking you are.
but there's one thing that I think puts you back a few points. I think you can improve by trimming your nails. For me it displays attention to detail, care for grooming, and neatness (you already have those things for everything else it seems).

obv it's up to you. But as an audience member it's slightly off putting.

I never thought thibgs would get so dystopian people are willingly buying a fucking mattress with a subscription. Even with a gun to my head, you couldn't get me to continue those antivirus subscriptions for the computer or any other subscription for that matter.

They really would make more money if they just changed the price of mattress from 2500 to 3000. And no subscription. That would cover almost 3 years of their monthly revenue. And they would sell more because very few people want to deal with a subscription to a product they already own.

My roommate has one of these and swears by it. It sounded great and I was really interested, especially since my room is upstairs and in the summer it can get very hot, even with register fans and a ceiling fan. Shortly after he purchased it, they instituted the membership and there's now no chance I'd ever consider one. I'm not paying a subscription for my bed.

maybe it goes off after 30 mins because you should be laying in bed that long anyways just because you make your own money doesn't mean you have to be lazy you can always do more but hey that why you have no growth
