I intentionally stayed away from this rendition because i loved the original and I don't usually like it when something i love is changed. That said, im the kind of person who thinks about the emotions behind the song, and wheather or not the song conveys them well. I saw a comment that said that the original felt like Dabi venting his anger, whereas this one feels like he's venting his pain, and i couldn't agree more. The soft music and the harsh vocals didn't seem to match at first, but it's perfect for him. It feels like he's sad, but he's trying to cover it up with anger.
I've always teared up a little bit at the original, but this one made my actually cry
