Im a fan of dechroming a vehicle sometimes in some cases it makes the vehicle look better but i never did like tinting the tail lights or the headlights something like that should NEVER be done to an awesome and Prestigious vehicle of this caliber you only do things like that to stupid and dumb vehicles like any piece of crap toyota or lexus every time i see stuff like this it reminds me of that Geico commercial that says "people do strange things to cars"

Im exatly the opposite. The earlier generation CL i find much more elegant actually. But that is just in the eye of the beholder.

Quarter mile is 11.8. That's weak for the money. And being a big, expensive, complex Merc, will cost you an arm and a leg in maintenance over time. What a joke of a car.

You forgot to mention the generation of E63's that sported a 5.5 litre twin turbo V8. With tuning capabilities of 8-900 horsepower and nearly 1000 foot pounds of torque. The true unicorns were the 2012 E63's before AMG decided 4.7 litres was enough for a V8... Sadly later anything with a turbo got an AMG badge regardless of displacement or number of turbo's. These early 2010-2012 AMG variants were special. I think it was a love letter from AMG well knowing the direction the company would have to take in order to skirt EPA fuel economy requirements, and also knowing Mercede's master plan the leverage the AMG badge to drive sales regardless if the badge was warranted or not. I miss when a Mercedes badge indicated its engine size, and when AMG badge really meant you had something special.

This car has very good design and imho the post 2012 CLS and W212 with those "edgy" lines were better looking than modern Mercs. Since W213 they've used that bulbous, rounded shape which doesn't suit so well, imho.

Hey. Just fyi, most of the work was carried out by ourselves at AKtints Ltd in Leeds. For some reason Carl didn't mention it to you, but he did send me a link to this video. We did printed carbon bonnet, full chrome delete, tinted pf on all lights. He has been back since and we have added more bits to the car :) Some of the work can be seen on our channel.

Oddly enough the 65 actually uses a relatively cheap V12. Mercedes had a much more advanced V12 in the 90's, which Pagani kept using afterwards, while Mercedes and AMG started to cheap out. The retail price didn't reflect that, of course.

Personally I think ' king of autobahn ' would be the previous gen which had comfy seats, fatter tyres and ABC suspension. Boy racer exhaust and harsh ride don't exactly say ' executive' .

I bet that thing is down 100bhp at least from standard just listening to it sounds rough, god help the service bills if its not had the correct services done! This rubbish review is desperately trying too hard to pretend this is a really cool car with his sales chatter blah blah, its beyond ridiculous, its obviously an incentivised review, ie paid advert for the actual car! why else tells us its on autotrader right now?

has to be one of my favorite modern mercs, beside its power, it has such a clean beautiful design and i had much fun driving it in midnight club LA and forza motorsport 4.

Damn the slo mo shots of all the crusty aftermarket parts with fake AMG-Logos and coloured carbon really made this a hard watch. That just has nothing to do with the original product

During that full-throttle run, that shudder in the video was wheelspin and the traction control fighting to prevent it. All of the M275 cars easily break traction at roadway speed.
