They sent a file for updating software. But that messed my device. They can't fix it. Its simple reflasing the software back on device. Which they are not helping on..
They stopped responding to my emails.
I don't know why can't they just provide proper steps in reflasing original firmware.
I see positive reviews everywhere. I don't know if each and every product is perfect which is not possible in real world.

Is there generator noise when using the aux cable? I have a cheaper battery power bluetooth adapter that connect to aux, but when charging it in the same time, there is this generator noise

Great video. Your video clearly shows an AV out (which i need to output to camper TV , rca) but the links to the products only list this as an audio out.

I've emailed Carpuride. Which model number did you demo? Can you confirm the AV out works? Is it y cable?

Hi - in all of your tests would you be able to test if you can listen to music and have the maps directions played over the top of the music. IE. - does it mute the music while playing directions, or does it play them both at the same time. And if it does play both at once, are you able to hear the directionsclearly

Nice video..and a right hand drive like most cars in India. Now that you have mounted the unit to the AC vents, could you tell how it behaves when you drive the car?...is it stable or wobbly? and does it affect the air conditioning in anyway now that the vents are kinda blocked?

Hi, I have a lexus rx400h 2006, I like the car and intend to keep it for about 3/4 years more, few days ago my factory fitted amplifier stopped giving volume to the car stereo unit, I’ve done extensive research and I have decided to go for some kind of DAB unit with reverse camera, budget is about £80 to £150 thereabouts, the wiring is so sophisticated that I’m willing to feed new wiring to and from the cars own speakers and try using the existing power supply is I can, if not, I’ll find a new feed, I will try and disconnect the old unit and see if my climate controls still work, if not, I’ll leave it all connected but have the unit on top of the dash as there is plenty of space, I was shocked to find out that the wiring is not straight forward as older cars with standard iso connections, I’ve had a quote for an Apple play unit, they said I’m looking at around £700/£800, that includes bypassing the amplifier, most of the money is towards labour, my question is, can you recommend a double din slim head unit? Thanks in advance 👍🏽

Does the unit need to be manually turned on and off when you start/turn off your car? One reviewer said that the unit came on after the car was shut off if it was still plugged in the cigarette lighter.

Do you happen to know what type of processor this unit has and what amount of Ram and storage?

Is it possible to have this turn on and off with the vehicle or do you always have to turn it on manually with the power button?

Be careful with the mount. Those plastic teeth that connects to the back break off really easily. Especially if you are driving on bumpy roads in a truck. This happened to me.

Android Auto is lame, it forces the phone to turn on wifi no matter what

It's OK, but you can get a tablet on a mount and get a fb-Bluetooth receiver, much cheaper with same results. Right?

A real test would be how these cheap devices survive a summer on a dashboard, because home consumer devices are not auto devices, which have electronics designed for the heat and vibration.

Frankly, larger screens are dangerous distractions and should be banned.

You mentioned it has compatibility with a reverse camera, would it be possible to see some footage of what setting that up looks like, or what the screen displays when you're actually in Reverse gear?

Was the 7 inch size ever a problem for you? And the lack of physical controles? Been debating on wheather to buy the Carpuride W103, 10.3 inch IPS widescreen with camera or the Atoto P8 wish has a better camera and a remote controle but it's only 7 inch screen, but it is QLED. For the same price what do you reckon?

I had install several radio on my cars in the past and this is the first time I will consider one of these type of radio... No hastle plug and play! Clean in dash look great but in a 2013 car you can go wrong with one of this plus you can take it out any time 🤷🏻‍♂️

Features are lacking with this unit. The screen is nice. If this had the features of the Atoto P8 I'd buy it. Or if the Atoto ever upgrades their screen, which according to their engineering team has no current plans to do so

Will this work as intended you think? My question is as this product is connected to my Android phone and Android Auto... Interesting, but how good is the built in mic? That big a device vent-mounted wouldn't be my choice on a rough road.

Hi I like to listen to DAB stations and my wife plays CDs can this unit play DAB stations?

I recently purchased the largest version for my truck. I found that you can not adjust the voice prompt volume separately from the media volume. The voice prompt volume is so low that I can barely hear it when giving me GPS directions or reading text messages and search results. I noticed that you didn't show using those features.
I connect my carpuride with the aux cable to have better sound quality and avoid interference from strong radio stations.
I love using Android Auto in my car and wanted it for my big rig as I feel it makes for a safer driving experience.
