The best Zeppelin album...followed by Physical Graffiti...
Bass work on this album is f...g awesome JP Jones best bassist in the world. When thus album came out it blew my 12 year old mine into eternity ❤😮 I don't know how people can compare this band with anybody. The best band until the 2nd coming of the lord.
Listening to this album takes me back to the 70’s as a teenager I listened to this album over and over…really takes me back…smoking pot thinking my parents didn’t know…lol…good times
One of the greatest R'N'R' allbums ever made.
16years old-I had headphones from my older brother in "Nam", that made the album jump. Their debut album came out just after Cream disbanded and Traffic was in limbo. How could a band top their first album. They did and continued on the journey. The "Lemon Song" always seemed to be crossing the line with it's lyrics. Considering the music industry for the last 30 years that song appears lame. Still remembering listening to albums together with my friends during that period of time. Thank goodness for WNEW FM out out of New York.
Yup, this is a description of a time from who is old. Still enjoy all music and what atmosphere it creates. As Groucho said," I'm gonna live for ever, or die trying."
Led Zep 2 , legendary , Top 10:Album ever category
Mama Mia!!, que gran banda y que gran musica!!. LED ZEPPELIN!!!. GREAT!!!.
VIVA!
I was 16 when this album came out, right on the heels of their first. I remember listening with huge, old fashioned can-style headphones. It blew my mind. I've loved Zeppelin ever since...but I love Zepplin I and II the most.
Great album. Whole Lotta Love...i remember hearing it on the radio, that middle part freaked me out. I was too young to understand. Born in '64 but had 4 older brothers and even my country music loving brother rocked to Zep. When i was about 10 or 11 my cousin n I rode with another brother from Santa Rosa to Bakersfield, Ca...over 300 miles. We listened to Zep most of the way. Still, i knew some of their songs but not titles, n they were not my favorite....Summer of 1980. Just 2 years before graduating high school....Zep was becoming more familiar. In Thru the Out Door came out. Back in 1977 i was only 12 n unable to go to concerts yet. All my brothers saw Led Zeppelin in LA on their '77 tour. I finally have my own room n stereo after Freshman year. One Summer day i place the Song Remains the Same on my turntable. That live double album remained on the stereo for a month. And now i understand just how great they are. And finally, i will see them in concert...
But i never did. Bonzo died September 25, 1980. Led Zeppelin was no more. Gone but forever remembered and forever #1 for me. And it is because there will never be 4 gods in one band like that again. On a side note the day Bonzo died remained a very sad day for me...for 13 years. Then, as if from above, my daughter was born. So now i rejoice in being a fan, and a father, and Zep will be with me forever
Then there is Black Sabbath. Case closed.
Play it loud and fk the neighbours because they will love it even if they don’t like you!
My phone low battery. 🔋
Turned 64 this summer, so in the 60s I listened to A.M Radio. When I was 10 in 1970 I heard a Led Zeppelin album for the first time from my friends big brother. Instantly fell in Love with the creation of Rock Music and L.Z being like the God.Tuned into F.M. and never looked back. I would have sold my Soul to have been able to trip out at one of their Live concerts
Those of us who are fortunate enough to own the fabled RL cut can appreciate this album in all its forceful brilliance.
Definitely one of the greatest rock'nroll album off all time!
When every song is a hit, it's hard to pick your favorite... Well done boys.
Amazing run. Thank You.
Led Zeppelin for breakfast 😂
If Black Sabbath is the father of heavy metal, Led Zeppelin is the grandfather of heavy metal!
Muito bom. 🎉
I was still in grade school when this came out. Fortunately I had older brothers that were music aficionados. I thought this was just normal. Looking back I realize the 60’s and 70’s were like a music renaissance.
Best
