A man not afraid to mix metric and imperial stock!
ОтветитьAs an amateur machinist these are the most beautiful creations known to man
ОтветитьWell, i am a Little Bit disappointed. I expected a way more complex and precise way from this old guy. Ok it's not that bad with that welding and such, but the screws seems to be a little bit wobbly for my eyes.
I hope you do a little bit more your way next time. Cheers
Only on this old tony will you find the care and attention required to ensure all seven sides of the hexagon get welded
ОтветитьHow do you snap those steel rods so cleanly? when I do that they always bend then break ragged and uneven.
ОтветитьThis has got me all jacked up, wanting to go turn something.
ОтветитьIdk almost looks like perfume or aftershave bottles to me
ОтветитьWith the equipment you have, could you make your own drill bits? Asking for a friend.
ОтветитьThis is sick!! I have a box full of planks and spacers, takes me 20 minutes to line something up before I can weld it and I’ve never thought of doing something like this lol Great video! 👍
ОтветитьOh. You made those. Of course you made those. I seen you call it a welder's jack in another video.
ОтветитьЧто это ?
ОтветитьDo you have any for sale? I could use one of these to hold up my graphics card inside my computer, haha!
ОтветитьI love your videos
ОтветитьMusic is making me think im watching a greg salazar video
ОтветитьI am taking it slow watching your videos. I am going to be sad when I can't watch a new ToT video. I know life threw you a curve ball. I hope everyone is doing well. Also, I never thought I would say this, but you talked way to much I this video. Settle down just a bit there Talkie McTalkerson.
ОтветитьI need to figure out how to make one with and for my Mimi mill.
ОтветитьAmazing! that's all I can say!
ОтветитьI’ve been using a modified brass caps and plug set. But this looks like a good project for the apprentices which means I have to make a demo set first....
ОтветитьAwesome!!!
Ответитьi wish i lived next to you......... you are an awesome machinist and engineer. always love your videos
ОтветитьMy wife has asked me if I use the increasing number of tools and equipment I buy mostly to make more tools and equipment. My answer was, “Yes.” It’s not intentional, but when you have the means to make it, you always seem to be working on a project where you need another tool or piece of equipment that you “have” to make in order to finish the project. It never ends!
Ответитьman it would be so nice if you could just break stock like that.
ОтветитьCan I just take 4 nuts and run a bolt through them?
I'm a JB welder at best.
Would rotating tops be useful?
ОтветитьStraight knurls are the new 30.
Soooooo clean🤤
tada.wav
ОтветитьI don't have any desire to make these, nor do I have the machines to do so. I just like watching you make stuff interesting, and commenting and liking for the algorithm.
ОтветитьI will make these
Ответить👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
ОтветитьNo bullshit? Great video.
ОтветитьHahaha
ОтветитьDamn... I want to buy lathe... I never used one, i dont know what can I do, nor how to do it, but I want one. If you have lathe, mill, grinder and welder, you are basically a god.
If I have a lathe, I think that one of the first things that Ill do is bearing press. It feels that this is something pretty easy to do.
Great videos but there is just one constant burr: "chips". I'll eat chips but never swarf.
ОтветитьI would’ve drilled the bar before cutting it up one hit
ОтветитьThat. Was. Amazing.
ОтветитьI use 2 t slot nuts and threaded rod
ОтветитьHey TOT. Have you ever gone back and watched any of these at 150 or double speed? Really punches them up a bit and the pace of speech isn't marred by the accelerated delivery. Some times I wonder if this just happens to be the way to watch these.
ОтветитьI had to watch 15 adverts before I could even watch the first 15 seconds of this video.
Ответитьlove it
Ответитьim wondering if flush mounting some magnets in the base would improve their stability
ОтветитьI have no idea what those are used for, but they'd make some sweet leveling feet for the welding table I need to build. :-)
ОтветитьI still wonder how you manage to drill holes without the drill turning, must be magic, and don't give me any of that nonsense about the piece turning, I've been usa drill for years and its gotta turn, you can't fool me.
ОтветитьOlde school tony... neat
ОтветитьСпасибо за видео! Просмотрел с большим удовольствием. У человека золотые руки!
Ответитьlook at those filthy claw marks
ОтветитьExcuse me, but how are these a "lazy machinist's" Jacks?
ОтветитьNice vid and and good idea for a starting project for turning. I would have love to see you do some peening and/or lock screw since people might not have access or knowledge welding.
