EPISODE 4 Of Andor Is Much Better Then The First 3 Episodes!

So glad you guys made this, I am very sure that andor is the type of show where they intentionally try to make each episode better than the last!

This episode actually FELT Starwars. As someone who was torn on first 3 i really liked this one. Still a few things i wasnt a fan of in the first 3 (Sexual content and S word being used since in SW they had other words for the F and S words) but yea we are getting good :)

Very hyped and hopeful for Andor's future. Also is this the first appearance of the ISB in Disney canon?

I hate how everyone thinks just because we say it’s slow means that we are referring to the lack of action, but yet episode 4 felt better paced and had a lot more interesting plot, not to mention the characters involved were far more mysterious and compelling.

I need to unplug my brain and watch ep4 again. I thought it was boring and the main character uninteresting.

This episode made me rewatch your old video about the Rakatan infinite empire. And I'm sure as hell glad it did. 😁

I have a few annoyances: 1. Ak47/74 in star wars. It's hardly disguised at all and completely took me out of the show because it's just in your face an AK, and then super casual fans defend Disney by attacking people who were annoyed by this. I've heard arguments that it could be a slugthrower and that normal guns exist in star wars. First off, real life firearms do not exist in star wars, yes slugthrowers are conventional firearms but not the ones we know. Second the blasters are based on real guns yet they usually have enough changes and additions to make them look sci-fi. Thirdly. Slugthrowers are only ever used by people like say tusken raiders anymore. Blasters are far cheaper and more efficient/effective. And no the trandoshan weapons are not slugthrowers they just look like them.
2. Lack of music. Seriously hardly any music here it makes it feel way too oppressive. But maybe that's the point, it's not something I can't get used to it's just a slight annoyance for star wars.
3. They are treading a fine line with language here, I can get over the other ones like bastards or ass, but shit doesn't belong at all, especially not the way it was used it felt so forced and stupid. At least when Data said it in Star trek 7 it was hilarious and kinda made sense even if it too didn't belong.
4. Andor character feels very weak. I can't box him in. Maybe he is meant to be unlikable right now but considering what he's like in rogue one, not very good character material in a show dedicated to him.
5. Coruscant feels off, it doesn't look quite right most of the time, idk something about it looks off or too much like new York city.
6. This is easily my biggest issue and final one. Stellan gives andor a kyber crystal necklace thing from the uprising against the rakatan invaders. This is legends material that once again is being plagiarized by Disney so they can support their kotor remake. They shitcanned the real star wars Canon, only to plagiarize it later and get credit for recanonizing it. But that shit won't fly with me. They wanted maximum creative freedom and ended up showing us that they have literally no creativity, they just can't make anything actually NEW to differentiate their new order from the expanded universe. This has been happening eversince they bought the property and I'm so sick of it.

4 Episodes and it feels like this show still hasn't established anything. All this build up for a character that was the least interesting thing in Rogue One.

I'm definitely glad to hear that from you guys. I am though gonna continue to wait until all twelve Season 1 episodes are available. While I'm waiting, I'll be watching My Life as a Teenage Robot on Paramount+.

I concur. The first three episodes were boring. This one was still slow but began to advance character and story development. I believe there is a different director for this new arc.

Oh no quite the opposite each of the episodes are actually giving us a piece of a buildup also with each episode passing gain strength and power and the balance is slowly tipping into our favour and to another just as I have anticipated.

Maybe you both are expecting a regular Star Wars movie than a TV show. It did have building blocks that you should give it another look before you say it was boring. Think about that you can't just jump into it if you did you guys will probably say why didn't they build more to it. Just my thoughts
