Trust me, your hair is killer!!!!!! Carry on fabric man. 👌♥️👍
ОтветитьYou are hilarious and gorgeous and very talented ❤😂 !! Also what brand of fabric sheers are you using??
ОтветитьThis was so helpful, the steps and order of doing things in particular, I'm about to start the arms and would have done them wrong if I had not watched this! Being a Londoner I also appreciate the accent and humour, so many of these tutorials are dull dull dull but you're a geezer!
ОтветитьWell done
ОтветитьGood. Don't turn your head away from the microphone when speaking. Could do with some close-ups to have a good look at what you're doing, like kicking the springs or metal straps. I hope this helps.
ОтветитьBrilliant, you make it look so obvious, sure its not.
ОтветитьOMG I NEED YOU!!
ОтветитьSo, maybe a sofa shouldn't be my first project! but I'm being gifted a wonderful sofa with ugly fabric, so I'm gonna try my best !!!
ОтветитьThis was so helpful! I’m no professional, by any stretch, but I’ve done a bit of upholstery here and there. I’m getting ready to tackle my traditional style sofa though, and this answered a couple of bits I was unsure about. I know this video is a few years old now, but if you see this, thank you. 😊
Ответитьnice work! I am excited to tackle my project!!
ОтветитьSo gy like xmas😂
ОтветитьHi Neil. Thank you for all you share. Love the channel. I have an odd question that may be better answered through a PM. Are you willing share a moment of advise?
ОтветитьGreat stuff, but I find it discouraging to even try to do this myself. I have no idea how you got those measurements to match up. If I did that it would be completely screwed up and I would end up throwing my arms in the air and duct taping the whole thing.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьVery informative
ОтветитьLovely work ❤
ОтветитьMy camel back sofa has a cotton cover directly over the foam. Can I use the existing cover as a liner for the final cover?
Ответитьtalk to me!
ОтветитьHow much would that cost?
I want to keep my corner sofa as it's the perfect size & shape for my lounge, plus it's the most comfortable thing i have ever sat and laid on. But it's brown and won't suit the room when I complete the decorating.
LOVE IT!!!
ОтветитьFabulous work. Your video was difficult to watch, though, was flashing brighter and darker the whole length of it.
ОтветитьI don't think his scissors are big enough. 😂
ОтветитьGreat video. From start to finish, I would have liked to have seen how you copied the fabric pattern for the couch arms and then sewed the new fabric together. They were finished very nicely but I would have liked to have seen exactly how you did that. Do you have another video from your library that shows how you make and sew couch arms?
ОтветитьName of the fabric please
ОтветитьThank you mate . St. Louis Missouri USA
ОтветитьVery educational and funny. Thanks Neil you are great to watch. God bless! 💜✝️
ОтветитьObviously you like yourself too much
ОтветитьSo I have a 4 section recliner that I need reupholstered. Called around a few places for quotes. $2500 just for labor, plus the cost of padding and fabric. Can someone help me understand why it’s less expensive to just buy a new sofa?🤷♂️
ОтветитьBeen upholstering since 1985 , bit sometimes it’s just nice to,watch others doing it and I’m still learning bits many years later.
the info on the tightening of the springs at the beginning was really useful.
Lovely upholstering, think you might need to treat yourself to a Bambi silent air compressor though! Mine is perfect for my small garage workshop. When it kicks in, it is as quiet as a fridge.
Hope business is ruining good for you, I’m always booking 12 weeks ahead !
Such a handsome man!!!
ОтветитьGreat video. Come across these spring systems seldom but what a few tricks there!!!
ОтветитьParla più lentamente per cortesia
Ответить"Love a bit of love handles FATTY" what a geezer
ОтветитьHow do you handle the cushions that sewn into the back of the couch?
ОтветитьThe details in this video are so helpful! After watching I gained a better understanding of how to reupholster my couch. I've been checking out other videos for some time and just found this one and for me this has been the most helpful by far. Will check out your the other videos. Enjoyed the bits of humor too!
ОтветитьI'm in Nashville TN and this is what I do. I am an furniture upholster! We do couches, car seats, wood, and more, you brake it we'll fix it... 😉
Ответитьdont they make a hook needle? for lashing
Ответитьhow hard would it be to do that to a couch that could be almost 200 years old ??
ОтветитьI’m an upholsterer off 25 years. U have any jobs going.
ОтветитьInterested
ОтветитьIncredible job, details! You are a true Master of your art. (What thick hair you have!)
ОтветитьThere was a couple more spots in the video you should have fixed your hair 🤭
Lmao this was informative, thank you!
he can kink my springs anytime
ОтветитьMy frend you aar the too too very funny my frend 🤓 i very much learning alots
ОтветитьThese types of tasks are fascinating for any lover of furniture design and it's something that can be extremely useful in many situations. For example, I love leather sofas, but this time my wife and I decided to go with a Ducaroy sofa fabric boucle that we ordered from Manhattan Home Design because we loved the pristine white hue of its finish, but if we decide to switch back to leather some day, I hope I can do it myself. Thanks for the tutorial!
ОтветитьThat's pretty cool man
ОтветитьAm just attempting this myself thats why am here . Stripping the couch at this moment. 😉
