I suspect we’re still very far from Optimus doing an electrician’s job or doing roofing. What may be realistic in the short term is loading a truck, loading a machine, sorting trash, wildfire fighting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, etc

I don't see how Randy came up with $400k replacing $20/hr workers. if you have the bot works 24/365, that will be $20x24x365 = $175 200. Not even half of his estimate.

Tesla might benefit most by treating Optimus as a separate timed venture and hold "investment" rounds into the bot in stages after internally proven. First 100, next 1000, next 100 000, even up to 1mil. - after that they can assess best method forward.

This would allow business enterpises to benefit from bot early, but not own it, something like bot as a service model.

I'm going with they won't have an auction. It's way more important to have client relations with large partners that want 1000s or 10s of thousands of them.

AS Uncle Sam looses revenue as bots go into jobs what will replace income tax? I want to see it ride bicycles, rollor scates and ultimatly MOTOGP. No fear just physics.
