Would love to see the review on the RS PHEV model CR-V.. :)
ОтветитьI read in the Honda manual the Eco mode will slow the acceleration and air con won’t work to the full capacity.
I note the test was done on Eco mode
Brakes are worthless. Have 8000 miles and they are worn out.
ОтветитьHoping for 7 seater AWD which CRV doesn’t have
Ответитьit's strange that Chinese cars nowadays have better fuel economy than Japanese rivals. Driving a brand new Dongfeng Forthing T5-Evo 1.5T 1600kg gets the best fuel economy on highway at:
_ 3.2 to 3.5l/100km at 55-65km/h
_ 3.7 to 4.0l/100km at 70-80km/h
_ 4.5 to 5.0l/100km at 90-100km/h.
and a combined 6.6l/100km.
As it a toe bar if it's broken down ❤🎉😅
ОтветитьIts so slow it breaks records going in reverse 😂
Ответитьno Honda for me till they stop putting that pissy engine in them, how they suppose to sell them in us
Ответитьgood video.
ОтветитьSt*upid front headlights design, no projection headlight option, interior ac vent design looks very bad and odd, no diesel engine option, only CVT transmission option no automatic transmission.
That's why I don't like Honda cars
I have the 5th gen sport 7 seat crv for the past 4 years, averaging 7 litres/100 k's mainly city driving, No issues in passing lanes on the highway with the 1.5 litre turbo. We have travelled whole of NZ North Island in it including plenty of camping trips with 4 people and a full boot, it has plenty of grunt when you need it, obviously it's not a race car and no one is buying it for that purpose anyways. I have filled it up with 6 adults many times and gone to Paihia and back, again no problem with passing lanes even when going uphill. I had the 3rd gen CRV before this one so I am truly a Honda fan. Have booked in the 6th gen crv for delivery next year. I love the way it drives and handles, interior is premium and it has good after sale value.
I wanted to buy the hybrid AWD but it's not launched in NZ yet so getting the gas AWD.
I like this guy. Dont no why they call these an SUV.
They look very car like.
Nothing like a Cherokee, Escape or Rav 4.😢
Ya a bit tiny engine
ОтветитьI need you to test top of the rangers
ОтветитьOutrageous in terms of small engine and high petrol usage.
ОтветитьLooks like a Rav4
ОтветитьOur 2022 Rav4 hybrid AWD has done 45000km and 😂averaged 5.9 litres per 100 km. It is also pretty quick off the mark, less than 8 seconds to100kph, l believe. Reliability faultless so far.😂 l balieve the Honda does not come close to those figures.
ОтветитьEco mode for the 0-100
ОтветитьWeak engine. Just get the Mitsubishi ASX
ОтветитьPointless to have a 1.5L engine if the fuel economy is still 9.5L/100km. This is barely better than a 3.5L V6 Toyota Highlander. It's not always about the engine size.
ОтветитьCan you please post a detailed review of Hybrid CRV please. Most of the Australian reviews are useless..
Ответить90km/h in reverse. Must be the quickest escape vehicle for drug dealers!
ОтветитьAll their cars are good. Its availability in the Australian market provides more options for consumers looking for a versatile and well-built SUV.
ОтветитьI don't know why they don't bring in the AWD hybrid. It would do well against the RAV4.
ОтветитьVolvo xc60
ОтветитьEco was on😂
ОтветитьHahaha I was shocked about the reverse speed lol😂😂😂
ОтветитьAre you putting a copyright on your signature wave and "G'day I'm Paul" greeting? 😉
ОтветитьI considered the crv, but that driver seat is the worst. Those bolsters on the seat squab really dig into your butt and thighs, and I was feeling them 30mins after a 10min test drive. No reviewers mention this even with a taller and bigger person. Real shame coz the car was really nice otherwise
ОтветитьSee all the CRVs driving in reverse down the highway.
ОтветитьI test drove the 5 seater AWD top of the range petrol model. Really impressed with the features and everything the car has except for the power. It's not sluggish by any mean, but it clearly felt underpowered. But then again for general non-maniacal driving, I think it's fine. The power delivery feels like my 1st gen 103kw Tiguan diesel.
ОтветитьHonda have crashed since they boned their dealers & went to fix price. Which is a shame really because they are very well made & incredibly reliable. If they hadn’t been so pig headed they could have been a good alternative to Toyota & Mazda but sadly they don’t have much of a support network or infrastructure left in Aus.
ОтветитьLooks like a mazda, what on earth
ОтветитьWaiting for this for a long time and finally here. Thanks, mate
ОтветитьThe design is more toned down and more mature now, kinda boring.
ОтветитьMade in Thailand?
ОтветитьMazda CX8 sport is still better which is less than this price range only thing is CRV is more roomy inside and comes with turbo
ОтветитьAny model apart from the top-spec AWD or eHEV with the complete digital cluster has no engine temperature gauge. WTF!! The Honda sales people didn't know about this bizarre omission. The drivetrain is the same as the previous model.
ОтветитьHey you guys should do the new byd seal
ОтветитьAll their cars look nice. Like how they don’t have fake headlight designs like with Hyundai.
ОтветитьThat back is definitely from Volvo. Interior is dark, dingy and uninteresting. Overall, a major improvement over all their previous gens
ОтветитьCVT = No thanks. Almost 10 seconds to 100km/hr is laughable in 2023. Disgracefully slow.
ОтветитьHey Paul and team, an idea I'd enjoy would be to test the size of the centre console storage with a standardised item, like you do with cupholders. It's hard to see the size of the storage from the camera's angle.
ОтветитьI'm in my early 40s. Those who said in the comments that this is a nice looking car, how old are you? I know Honda was very popular with old Asian guys but even my 70 year old dad has moved on and reckons this is ugly compared to those handsome Chinese cars....
ОтветитьTake it off "eco" mode and it will be 10 time better.............................
ОтветитьI was waiting for a while for this review. Thanks a lot.
As other mentioned, the key numbers are related to seat settings.
But I hoped that you give more details about the cluster monitor. As in VTi L models, it is not a full screen.
Also, lack of HUD and 360 camera is a shame.
But I love this one.
Mazda CX-9
- curves
= CR7
You can't unsee it.
You seem surprised by the engine and uncertain about its ability but I’m pretty certain it’s identical to last generations engine.
ОтветитьRandom question, but what watch is Paul wearing in this video?
