Some people have to decide whether they want to get a potentially life-threatening <government mandated medication>. Others have to decide if they risk going outside and getting <hurt in a war or conflict>. But this poor soul has to decide whether to keep living in a car or stop complaining. Ive been homeless twice. Once when I was 18 and trying to work and go to school (during the '08 collapse) and again like six years ago, thankfully for a very brief period of time.

Each time, it was here in the Bay Area of California. You dont get to be arrogant and prideful while begging others for work. I remember the closest job opportunity i got once was at a Round Table Pizza. The manager said they wanted to interview me, but they were busy.

I went there every single day and politely, quietly waited for the manager to be available for over a week. Dressed in as nice a set of clothes as possible. I sat there for Hours as he and the other managers walked past me repeatedly. Only leaving when they told me they wouldn't have time for me that day.

Eventually, I got hired. For $8.00 an hour, delivering pizzas in My car with $6.00 gas prices.

And I was Grateful.

I couldn't imImagine having the sense of entitlement these kids have today.

Perhaps the angry, confused, inarticulate young person of indeterminate gender would be happier if they started their own corporation providing a service in demand in the marketplace, and hired like-minded people to staff their operation, then he/she/it/whatever could afford a permanent domicile.

Pro tip for anyone thinking they want to be one of those trendy trans types: Don't transition professionally until you have an actual skillset. So far as your employer should be concerned, you want nothing to distinguish you from the faceless herd when you're looking for entry-level positions.
Don't transition at all until you've worked through all your other issues. A lot of that gender dysphoria actually isn't, it's just you misplacing distress for reasons you aren't self-aware enough to understand.

When my wife and I first got married, my only mode of transport was a push bike and my better half took the bus. We rented such things as tv's and were given beds and cookers from friends and family. We didn't have 2 pennies to rub together, but we worked hard and eventually paid up the mortgage on our modest home and will have something of a pension when we eventually retire... provided they don't carry us out of work in coffins.

An employment company that likely has 100s of files doesn't know the details of your specific situation. But they do you the courtesy of finding work for you in your behalf, likely making almost nothing for doing so. Then they call you the name that you probably registered with and have since changed.
