Do you have any new friends that need some help? Let me know below!
ОтветитьI'm not surprised new survivors are so bad if they watch this
ОтветитьI'm not able to heal myself after being unhooked or hit... I've tried every button on my controller to do so. I did it months ago but I haven't played since my last few updates.
ОтветитьI always recommend this guide to friends who start playing the game as it's really good! Would it be possible to get an updated version with the current "hatch" mechanic? love your content <3
Ответитьthis is bullshit
Ответитьi want res back
ОтветитьThis is the most in depth video I’ve seen. You’re not talking too fast which I appreciate. Thank you.
Ответитьwhat is that hook kinda or bamboo kinda stuff that wraps only one of the 4 players picture?
ОтветитьI'm installing the game on my ps5 right now.. hope this will help me out!
ОтветитьFor new survivors:
They currently added BOON TOTEMS to the game. It’s a bit similar to Hex totems. It’s a perk for the survivor which will grant you the ability to interact with dull/hex totems and bless them. The totem will be lit in a blue color, creating a "circle" around the blessed totem (ends of the circle will also be highlighted with blue). Those totems have beneficial aspects for your entire team when standing in the circle created from it. It can range from faster healing/self healing to hiding scratch marks or being able to pick yourself up after getting downed. However they can be destroyed by killers (you are able bless the destroyed boon totem again, it will not result in the totem getting destroyed completely)
Really great overview thanks! I've been looking for a vid to send friends I want to play DBD with that covers just about everything and this is PERFECT. Really appeciating the extra time and attention you're obviously putting into your tutorials. Hope you're well and keeping helathy!
ОтветитьI have hex ruin like you
ОтветитьSo this is "how to play a survivor" and not how to play dbd.
ОтветитьWhy is this new player’s guide meant for survivors? Aren’t most people killer players?
ОтветитьThis is the content I wish I had when I started playing. If I didn't have friends explaining all of this to me, I would have rage quit early on because the new player experience in DBD is nonexistent...but my friends also didn't do a great job of explaining it, so it took a while for me to fully understand what they meant. Same for when I brought people into the game - I also don't think I did a great of a job explaining things.
This video will be the first thing I send to any new friends I bring into the game.
I actually played DbD for a year now and this stuff still helps me 😬
ОтветитьIf hooks respawn, why can’t pallets?
ОтветитьIf you're new please take this in mind:
1. Don't be stealthy 24/7 (aka crouching and hiding), it's boring and you wont learn anything from avoiding chases, if you don't get chased you'll never learn how to loop and looping is the best weapon survivors have against killers.
2. Don't be scared of the killer
3. Don't be scared of being injured
4. Don't use Spine Chill unless you want to use it for fast vaulting, trust me, I've seen so many rank 1 dummy survivors failing skill checks because their spine chill activated and they instantly leave the gen facepalm
5. If you don't hear terror radius, sit on a gen, it means the killer is chasing someone else.
6. Have a lot of patience, some killers are complete jerks and are going to camp you, slug you, tunnel you but not everyone is going to play the same way.
7. This game can be incredibly frustrating in solo queue, some survivors are gonna make you feel like there is more than 1 killer, try playing with friends (aka swf), at least you can get a good laugh at the end of the day.
8. This game is grindy af, make sure to use all your BP to get teachables first.
9. If you don't have experience using WASD, try checking YT videos with keyboard overlay so you can understand how to turn your camera, using shift+W is really not good in this game.
10. Try to cleanse as many totems as you can or while you run from one gen to another.
I didn't even know about that hatch thing. I always thought it spawned at 2 gens remaining regardless of survivors still alive. This helps me a lot more now thank you
Ответитьi dont even understand why people like that game fter watching that video it confirmed my doubt on how it was boring you basically pay for a game where its always the same thing happening over and over again
ОтветитьPicked the game up yesterday in the steam sale - Damn this guide is way more helpful that the 'tutorial' in game!
ОтветитьGame pass quests made me play this game and now I can’t stop playing it lol thanks for the tips
ОтветитьI started playing today and after looking at a lot of beginners guides yours was the best
ОтветитьWould the trickster be good for beginners cuz I saw H2O delirious play it him and he seemed really good especially cuz of his blades that he has and you can throw I feel like a beginners would like that especially me but I don't know if I should get him or one of the ones you recommended I just got this game the day I'm writing this I just completed the tutorials and I'm moving to online I'm better as a survivor but I want to be a killer any tips on how to get better and also is ghost face good and is Nemesis easy for beginners/good for beginners
ОтветитьI'm new at this game and did absolutely awful....it was a lot of fun! lol
ОтветитьNew players: Wow new game
Me: Leave while you still can
“Unclenched your jaw” is my favourite intro. My jaw is literally always clenched so I end up with headaches. Thank you so much lmao
ОтветитьA very useful video, even for "advanced" beginners I think. What are the tentacle-like things around players' characters in the HUD btw?
ОтветитьThis is a very good and complete guide! As a new player I thank you. I just had my first win as a killer after many struggles, playing Bubba, and I had a ton of fun!
I subbed!
I LOVE that you included what survivor actions look like from the killers perspective. Amazing guide!
ОтветитьDefinitely needed this so I can get up to speed for my friends. Thanks x
ОтветитьThanks for breaking it down so thoroughly!
ОтветитьThank you for incentivizing new players to consider getting into Dead by Daylight, I think this is wonderful. More players may also incentivize the developers to refine the foundations of the game to a much healthier and engaging experience for everyone.. And you're single-handedly encouraging that, again, you're a hero of a person and one of my favourite content creators <3
Ответитьi’m not new, but i’m still watching this because i suck lol
ОтветитьAm I the intended audience for this video? Nope. Will I watch it anyway? You bet I will.
ОтветитьCan we get a video on how to run loops as killer next?
ОтветитьYou can adjust your control button layout too
ОтветитьFor the past week, my internet hasn't been great and unplayable with DbD. I've missed DbD, so thank you for these wonderful videos and streams that allow me to experience it. 💜
ОтветитьHeck even super experienced players need this
ОтветитьThe way he explains things it sounds like he is mansplaining instead of explaining it with al the okay and i hope you unclenched you jaw lmfao this guy
Ответитьthe hatch also spawns before the last generator is done, and in some matches survivors tend to try and find a key to escape together when they realize they have 3-genned themselves
ОтветитьI didn’t need any of this information really, just watched because it is a DyllonKG video
ОтветитьReally great guide! I also wish I had had this when I first started out xD
ОтветитьDesperately naw I gen rush them till camp me
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьWho won the giveaway
