It can be a bit of a cliche to say that our lives filled with work and electronics has removed us from our natural environments. The noises of our modern world have distracted us and filled our psyche's with stress and anxiety. The Japanese practice of "shinrin-yoku" or forest bathing is designed to bring us back to the calm of ourselves and helps reduce the stresses of our activity filled lives.
Nature photographer, Heidi Walker will take us through a journey of forest bathing with a twist. Forest bathing is practiced without electronics, Heidi will give us permission and techniques on how to forest bathe with your camera. No, you do not need a forest to "bathe" in, you just need a natural place where you can slow down and reconnect with nature.
