Basically true before CCP comes up. Why? Because I'm China citizens and I've alarmed before the pandemic news comes up-because I'm in doctor family with news from hospital first hand. I shared the information with my friend to alarm them wearing their masks, and apparently I'm not aware of any "control" during the infromation transition. By the way there is even groupchats in QQ which we called "键政群"--groupchats that disccusses politics, history events, and all sensitive content. As long as if you were really disccussing it, not promoting any aggresive content you'll be fine. There's no real privacy anywhere in the internet anyways.
