What are your favorite brain optimization hacks?
Ответить2 years and no one's corrected the title? tack not take? must be a professional.
Ответитьtack
ОтветитьWhen I lost my wife , I used to go into her closet just to smell her clothing . It would make me feel her love again .
ОтветитьLove you tom and andy thanks guys
ОтветитьWorking 94 hours per week is not possible long term.. I’ve tried
ОтветитьDude, spell the title of the video right 🙄
Ответить🐿🐿🐿🐿🐿
ОтветитьJust loved this so much and watch the both of you a lot - I want to be able to have a show as successful as yours one day and also have a man in my life like you guys who are so smart and wonderful, thank you for elevating the human race!
Ответить“The pursuit is the reward.” — my biggest take is that everything you do, better be the end, not means to an end.
ОтветитьI think that this video just changed my life, for the better. Thank you
ОтветитьSemen retention. Thank me later. :D
Ответитьsuper interesting title and thumbnail changes, like 10 in 2 years? crazy, good job
ОтветитьNeed to watch this again... waaay too much information for one sitting. Friggin' eye opening
ОтветитьWhich episode # is this from?
ОтветитьLove the podcast. Just a thought, although you don’t do experiments in the lab, why can’t you use MMA , Rugby And Rugby League players etc? Those athletes get smashed every week and keep going back for more .
Ответить"The more pain you experience, the more happiness you can get afterwards". Unfortunately, this isn't true for ppl with major depression.. I wish it was. I am doing all the stuff to increase my dopamine, like heavy lifting, icebathing, mountain running, all the discipline not to do much if the "indulging activities" like scrolling social media, yet the "reward peak" lifts my energy just barely enough to survive another day. I don't even reach the baseline of feeling "neutral/normal". This has been going on since 12 years. The happy or ok-feeling phases are slowly diminishing and shortening. Seemingly treatment resistent. It feels like the illness is eating up massive amounts of energy. Do you guys have any recommendation what else to do? Getting desperate at times
ОтветитьSo you mean hitting my bong and flooding my brain with dopamine every hour is bad for me lol
ОтветитьThis Dr. is so smart.
ОтветитьAddition can come in may from, make sure y'all avoid cigarettes addition, it almost damaged me. And im glad i found shrooms which really helped me quite smoking..
ОтветитьA hour long when you can just stay on point and ppl will learn and watch. STRAIGHT TO THE POINT STAY ON THE POINT 20 MINUTES .
ОтветитьI think about the letdown like you work rabidly for something, you get more and more excited as you close in on the reward, then when you get there, you just exhale, smile, and say, "I did it."
Ответитьi don't think elon musk works 93 hours a week
ОтветитьTom seems like a psychopath
ОтветитьI tell ya. Answering to the needs of my dogs has kept alive. Caretaking can result in burnout but dogs are pretty easy and most the stuff they need is good for you too. 71 and always fighting depression from pain just walking the dogs is keeping me going. And feeding the horses twice a day rain or shine. The SAD therapy in Fall and Winter. Im told it doesn’t work for everyone. Im not brimming with motivation at all but I get stuff done.
Ответитьthis was so fucking good. Tom your channel has become one of my favs! solid content sir
ОтветитьWho is the author of the book you mentioned here “female brain”?
Ответитьyeh i talked about how woman using perfume are stuffing up their pheromones and no wonder they dont attract the guy they want, years ago
ОтветитьAnna Lembke is the author Andrew refers to a few times… in case other spellings found nothing when you searched. That was the problem I had.
ОтветитьMain difference between your and Rogan’s interview style, you always revert to talking about yourself..
ОтветитьSo…Delayed Gratification?
ОтветитьROFLMAO 😂😂😂😂😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅🖕
ОтветитьPhenomenal
ОтветитьCan’t believe i’m 2 years late to this gem - it’s time to turn my life around
ОтветитьThank you Andrew. Thank you Tom for bringing Andrew and discussing this topics. So important in this time of my life. I'll definetly come back to this one. Thanks thanks thanks.
ОтветитьCan you provide me the next part of this video
ОтветитьAll I know about my motivation and dopamine is based on how I feel normal when taking tramadol..I wish I could replicate that "normal" without it..I give up.
ОтветитьEnlightenment is cool, but we're not meant to have it 24/7.
ОтветитьWas the title spelled tack instead of take for a reason or is that just a error?
ОтветитьU mispelled "take" in the title to this video
ОтветитьThere should be a podcast discussing the explorers who went to the North and South Pole on suffered Vitamin D deficiency because of the changes of light exposure. They worked hard to accomplish a goal. When they experienced the polar 24 hours of sunlight, dopamine not processed? Many went mad.
ОтветитьDad with 5 kids here....we're thankful and it's a blessing. God provides and we're content. We don't worry about food unless I focus on it too much lol 🤣 I am going to do a dopamine detox based off this and another video. I can see that although I learn a lot online still get easily distracted. I don't focus on the important so it's time to do that first with no distractions. All the best to those trying to kick the habit and ride the wave!
Ответить@TomBilyeu - a little boy called a wise man a mother fucker on this video.
ОтветитьI thought meth was the solution to "laziness"?
ОтветитьLike David Goggins said: DISCIPLINE is the key. It brings the MOTIVATION back to track.
GREAT PODCAST!
93 hours a week is not healthy. Didn't you learn anything from your guest?
