Biggest problem i had with my 1st FPV drone as it didn't have any altitude controls. It was far to easy to pile it into the ground.
One of these days i will take it out into a field or an open countryside. Until then it sits
Thank you. I feel like I can really do this.
ОтветитьOne thing I found when starting fpv was how vital it is learning how to land as it’s something that is obviously lacking from the simulator process.
I’m quite confident with flying now, but learning how to land back on a landing pad is proving difficult.
I’m just disarming my quad when it’s in my general location and then walking a couple meters or whatever to collect it.
And learning about lipos and voltage etc is really important as well.
I learned acro via the Avata and Dji Fpv, and recently upgraded to a Bob57 03 with crossfire, and am considering getting either the cinelog 35 v2, or cinebot 30.

ОтветитьWatching these kind of videos, I realized DJI drones are shit ass expensive and no worth buying, also, that I don't have the time to do this soldering, buying parts, screws, and so on :(
ОтветитьI would prefer someone making it for me and fix it when ever i break it.
ОтветитьGreat video, you sure are knowledgeable. Thumbs up. Do you need an amateur (ham) radio license?
ОтветитьIm thinking of bying a betaFPV cetus X just to start out, i have some experience in flying the emax tinihawk 2 frestyle, bud sdly soldt it cause of money needs… but now i want to get back in the hobby… i also bought the radiomaster tx16 hall carbon quite cheap used… to train int the sim… anyways, do you think the cetus x is a ok drone to start off with?
Ответитьyo whats up, i was wondering if i should get a dji mavic 3 pro cine, or a dji inspire 2 for real-estate etc?!
ОтветитьBeing the most inexperienced person on this subject, you gave me a way to begin my journey. Kudos to you. Thank you for such an amazing video.
ОтветитьI remember running an FPV setup in the 90's for RC racing. Wireless SD camera with a CMOS sensor (not even a CCD). Maybe 200m range max and with occasional static. Goggles were 640x480, and to record footage, I had to hook up a camcorder. Now everything comes in a single package. No need to invent contraptions, and it's all relatively cheap. Plenty of replacement parts. They made it easy for people to get into drone operation. I've had a number of them over the years. I had a chance to learn them though practice, but if I was just starting from scratch, I would've gone with a simulator for sure. Back when I started piloting, they didn't exist.
ОтветитьThanks for the informative content 👍
ОтветитьBest tip I got, having money and buying all the nicest equipment will do absolutely nothing to make you better at flying manual/ACRO mode. The only piece of equipment that will actually improve (it will not make you better) your experience is buying that DJI goggles 2 and the DJI receiver to allow for much longer range, and yes, that will cost you around $1000. Aside from that, but an emax mini 2 or 3 inch (under 250 grams) quad package for around $500 and make sure it’s RTF (ready to fly, no binding and beta flight). Just charge and fly, super easy.
ОтветитьAmazing video as always. The videos get better with every new one. Keep up the great work.
ОтветитьA little bit obsolete for 2023...
ОтветитьAll I have is a 100 dollars yall got any fpv drones that can fly for 25-30 minutes out of the box or DIY...
Ответитьty so much about using a radio controller instead of an xbox controller like I am, I'm currently discouraged based on how I can't throttle/yaw effectively..
ОтветитьThank you for your concise summary ... very helpful indeed!
ОтветитьInstantly subscribed. Will contact you to ask for help building one up soon. Hope you do respond to your subscribers comments. An email address would be great for a detailed chat.
ОтветитьDo you need part 107 license to fly FPV drones?
ОтветитьLove my foxwhoop 2.5 and my cine30 my next one gonna be 7 or that crazy iflight i10 that thing is nutty buddy Vrap
ОтветитьThanks man.
ОтветитьGreat vid! New sub here. I started on Crossfire, FatShark Attitude V6 goggles, and of course a Tango 2 (first and only transmitter I'll ever buy/need). Was against digital for a long time and finally took the leap. Got Walksnail Avatar V2, upgraded my fleet and I could def NEVER go back. Night and day difference. I'd definitely recommend going digital to any new pilot instead of going analog. It's come a long way and I average just 25mbps at 1080p. Keep up the good work! 👊
ОтветитьThe issue is were i live(Spain) u need a license and its not cheap by anymean so there is a big up front cost
ОтветитьI want to get some great footage at all the riots !
Ответитьlmfao, best for me ay
ОтветитьCan dji air 2s camera be used in fpv drone
ОтветитьCool Video, I recently got myself a creap ass 15 dollar drone and i´m obsessed with it, flying it at every oppertunity. Now i wanna really get into it and your video was extremely helpful, Thanks a lot😁
ОтветитьFor someone who spent a lot of time in serious flying sims like DCS, I wonder how easy or difficult transferring to this would be lol
ОтветитьThanks
Ответитьなるほどです。fpvはじめるので参考にさせていただきます😉
ОтветитьGreat Video ! ! ! - Thank you ! ! !
ОтветитьHi please help me! What kind of controller I neet to buy for liftoff drone simulator ? almost all controllers for drones are compatible with this simulator? I have macbook. I don't want to buy an expensive controller for beginning.
Thank you for help! :) :)
Is there any fpv drones that I could use with my Xwave analog 5.8 goggles and my spectrum rc transmitter? Thanks for any suggestions.
ОтветитьAwesome video!
ОтветитьIn the 90's when i flew rc helicopters (FYI - 5 gimbals - pitch , yaw , roll , throttle , and blade angle) these was the exact same uproar about the quality digital over analog as it was new then - you will not really find many analog heli's anymore. although to be fair helis can have much larger engines , batteries and mainly receivers that are much more reactive than the ones in fpv
ОтветитьWhat the heck bro. You are such amazing person judging by your presentation! Sadly money and the place(country you are living) takes a big part of starting the fpv journey.
Any advice you can give me how to find some groups, people, some pilots in my country/city ? I've been look at social medias, but didn't help much... Thanks!
For a newbie like myself, I found your video to be a great starting tool. I took notes, step by step and even typed out your Diligent Practice & Patient Progress, printed it and put it up in my shop. Thanks again for your wisdom.
ОтветитьNice video :)!
Some tips and explanation on batteries and chargers and how to pack your equipment for traveling would also be useful
Great video, rn I want to buy and install a camera on my brothers (now mine) Traxxas Alias and really wanting to get some kind of DJI combo or maybe I’ll build my own someday
ОтветитьBuilding your own drone would be so cool
ОтветитьGreat video! Thanks for all the info
ОтветитьWow, you got to be paid by DJI! There is alot of other options to, but you say nothing of them only DJI.
ОтветитьAny recommendations for cheap drone to fly out to check cows approx 200 yards
ОтветитьI would love to build my own drone but I don’t want to mess it up. I don’t have the confidence to do it😅
ОтветитьIt would be nice to practice on a simulator, however I don’t have a computer and can’t justify spending what I have saved for a fpv setup on a computer.
ОтветитьThis is so helpful thank you!
Ответитьdude YT recommended me your video and now I am about to buy FPV drone. Its your fault you got me to spend my savings haha
ОтветитьGreat video my guy
Ответитьwould you recommend I buy an Avata with the goggles and controller included or grab a different pair of goggles and a different controller and buy the Avata alone?
Ответить
