Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPI's)

Hi! Thanks for the video. I have read the Omperazole causes weight gain. I gained 15 lbs immediately when on it. I am trying to lose weight after being on omperazole. I did not have acid reflux. It was snuck into a “natural” Mexican supplement called Umary. It has been 5 months since I stopped. I just read this “Omeprazole reduces the production of stomach acid and works by ‘irreversibly’ blocking the actions of an enzyme responsible for acid production, called H+/K+ ATPase (also known as the gastric proton pump). “ Does that mean that my proton pump and enzyme responsible for acid production will never go back to working normally? It says it’s irreversible! 😳
