New subbie. Greetings from New Zealand. I love these kinds of videos, as it always helps me find new BT's to follow. Thanks for this. I've subscribed to them all. I think she pronounces it 'Pine-Conek'. Rhymes with 'Iconic'.

I gave up on booktube a few years ago; deciding I was just too old for most of the hip young Millennials' recommendations. So thank you for these recommendations, I'll give it another try.
Also, for Dr. K's channel it would definitely be "pinecone" like from the tree. If she's a neuroscientist the reference would be to the pineal gland in the brain, which is shaped like a tiny pinecone.

Thank you Olive for doing these videos! I’m always looking for booktube channels that read in the genres that I enjoy. It’s not very easy to find nonfiction, historical fiction, contemporary fiction, and true crime readers without help from videos like this. Last year I was introduced to a few great channels, LaRosa Reads, Shelly Swearingen, and Gina Stanyer Books because of you and I absolutely love their channels not just for the books, but they’re just some of the sweetest people as well. I can’t wait to check these channels out and binge watch their videos. ❤

I'd only heard of Fred. Thank you. I'd like to recommend Hannah's Books. She's a lovely woman who reads classics, nonfiction, and general literature. BookishTexan always has strong opinions about books. He reads mostly fiction. Bookish Realm is a librarian who reads everything from children's books to manga to memoirs.
