The stage looks nice but that's about it.
Looks like the same old Tekken I played at the arcade when I was a kid, just better graphics.
Not even a better fighting engine, or body fluidity.
Characters are too huge and when they jump they look light as a feather.

I always miss that character set list from tekken tag 2, micro trans ruined fighting games..

I am still hoping for the reminding characters trailers even if some of them are hit and miss.

Too few characters

I just can't stand fighting games anymore whether it's Street Fighter or this - with stupid energy burst effects with every bit of contact and light shows for basic moves.. Just ruins it for me.

I miss selecting a character and fighting all the way to the boss to unlock a new character… tekken 7 was rubbish

If ask me to choose between Tekken 8 & Street Fighter 6 , I will still go with Tekken 8 because it has better gameplay quality than Street Fighter 6 , this game will be my number 1 for 2024.
