Witcher 3 BLOOD AND WINE Empress Ciri Visits Geralt Ending/Epilogue

Imagine this happens when Geralt tries to sleep with yennefer and triss 😂😂😂

Why do people assume a ruler must be unhappy? Are Cerys or Anarietta always unhappy? Ciri was sad in that ending because she had to say goodbye to Geralt. It‘s not like she will always have an unsavory miserable life as the Empress. That was her choice and she can even quit if she feels like it. If you choose Ciri Witcher ending you can’t give her the option, and that’s her option and her decision.

Geralt could be Ciris bodyguard

It makes no sense that ciri acts like they won't be able to see each other again during this ending, ciri can literally teleport anywhere and to any realm in an instant, sure she will be busy with the politics and such if being a leader, but it's not like she cant see Geralt whenever she wants.
And giving up her sword just felt overly dramatic, a monarch needs a sword too, she can certainly handle defending herself and leaders often have to protect themselves, so giving up the sword was just dumb.
That's the only problems I have with that ending, otherwise I think it's better overall. Nilfgard gets a peaceful and wise ruler who is of elder blood, and ciri can still make time (literally as the lady of space and time) to see her friends and family and even go on the occasional contract with Geralt as a part-time Witcheress.
They tired to force that ending seem like some sad goodby when in reality it's just the beginning.

Does she lay in the same sunbed place Triss and Yennefer do or does she just disappear after this conversation?

I wish this conversation went on longer, also that Regis was there. They only had one brief interaction in the books

I think Geralt (while he says no) would take Ciri’s request to be her court Witcher, just to be at her side. It’s not like the action he’d see would lessen, I doubt Ciri would restrict him from his Witcher ways (contracts and such)

How do you get this ending? Do you have to mess up with yen and triss to get this?

I really wish they made Ciri decide on her own if becoming empress or not instead of having Geralt influence her with his opinion even at her behest at Kaer Mohren

You know. This is how I imagine finishing the game be like. Not finishing the game then proceed to die 20 times plus facing a toad down under a sewer using every single décoction , potion, oil and still the fucking thing is too damn hard to kill. Without those thing I run short of like 20% of it health. With those thing I get hit when busy trying to use the potion. Give up by the time writing this comment. Not worth it at all. I am exhausted. Imagine fighting all sort of dragon and ghost and even the king of wild hunt only to get killed by a toad. Sick of it.

Despite what others might think, i actually really, really like this ending: when Ciri calls Emhyr papa, it may feel weird at first but it tells me that the Emperor actually treats him Ciri very well, which i think Geralt (and myself tbh) really appreciates. The flow of conversation also tells me that Ciri is at complete freedom to choose if or when she wants to leave if she finds the whole thing unsuitable for her. The advisors at Ciri's side tells me Ciri's needs are well taken care of, and the fact she only used wine as an excuse for staying at a particular place means that the advisors listen to even her bs. Plus, its always been said that the best rulers are those who acknowledge their weaknesses, which Ciri clearly does here. The 10th anniversary video also tells me that Ciri is at liberty to visit Geralt (and Yen) anytime she wishes. Add in the fact that Ciri now has the freedom to go anywhere in practically the whole North and South (and without having to fear for her life!) means she fulfils her dream, while at the same time contributing meaningfully to the whole Continent. The only sad part about this video is that Geralt says his life is "the Path", which anyway would not be the case if he romances someone. Since the only pre-req for this to happen is for Ciri to be empress, i always imagine that this would happen even if we dont see this in-game - after all, witcher 3 is a game where stuff happens even if we arent there to see it (or save it from the horrors it would have faced).

Ciri being empress just feels not right. Imo she deserves to do what she wants, without sacrificing herself for others and without people around her who want to use her. She has done enough for the world already.

So in my current playthrough I somehow managed to not romance either Yennefer or Triss, and I was never prompted to bring Ciri back to Nilfgaard, so I got the "Ciri's a witcher" ending. Now playing Blood and Wine, can't wait to see who shows up in the epilogue! Dandelion maybe?

If she was the empress then why was she not dressed like it?

Knowing that making ciri the empress is the best thing. Someone who has meet all types of people and has seen their condition, is a witcher and a mage. Being a witcher can only help small time, helping the people as the Empress is whole another level.

I got this ending and I wasn't satisfied. Much less dialogue options compared to the other endings and then this sudden end of the conversation. :(

Ciri becoming Empress as much as I never choose always go witcheress route. It is most likely the best outcome for the Witcher world as a whole. She would do a lot of good; she would be a very kind and sympathetic ruler that could be very decisive and forceful when the need arises.

I am skeptical about the Ciri Witcher ending. She is considered dead, then becomes free and does what she likes, yet she was considered dead 3-4 times before W3 and that didnt stop anyone from searching her, The lodge, Emyr, Dijkstra and Kovir all had plans about her and they are still active, Hell I even doubt if Emyr would fall for this blatant lie to begin with, sooner or later his spies would inform him about a girl witcher roaming in the Continent.

Realistically the best options that would end this neverending pursuit would be either Nilfgaardian empress or Koviri queen or just immigrate to a different universe and lay low.
