Well to my opinion The mobile I-Phone is an device needed in the most business- and private-area. Perhaps some people don't agree, but that is their opinion. Only one thing: for some people a mobile I-Phone is still expensive. Kind regards.

When Joz said “just use third party apps” referring to why there isn’t a calculator app on the iPad. She should have followed up with “well then why put one on the iPhone and not direct people to third party apps there as well”?

Now the iPhone 15 is out and you guys (Apple) touted the advantages of that port, almost as if you'd done it to do us consumers a favour. Blah blah blah... I got an iPhone X that's overdue to be replaced. But you know what? I might seriously consider jumping to Android.

I’ve been using apple products since 6 years and i love their security, but even I’m tired of this company’s hypocrisy and their two faced selfish nature. I get they want to make money from Mfi program. The least they can do is have the guts to admit it.

She should’ve asked them that why did they introduce usb-c to ipad and macbooks and macs, way before EU norms, why did they introduced thunderbolt 3 & 4 in them which were significantly faster than lightning, but according to the statements given by them right now, how can lightning be superior to thunderbolt usb c or even plain usb c?

Then she should have asked them that didn’t they have the same security concerns in the usb-c in their ipads and macbooks like they do now when they talk about removing lightning and replacing it with usb c in the iphones.

the usb c thing makes me so furious. obviously apple sticks to lightning because they can bend people over a barrell for licensing fees when usb c is obviously vastly superior.

Micro USB is (and was) I pile of ???? that cable was shocking even a good quality cable had issues and the amount of cheap ones available are absolutely dreadful and are e waste and shouldn't be sold !!! I have had USB C cables that "ill fit" tight loose etc never had issues with a lightning cable.....I love Craig ;)

I think the iMessage stuff is mainly a big thing in us. Here in my country, even my friends use an iPhone we don’t even use it to communicate, facetime maybe? But the iMessage is no no. I know they answered questions not directly but we have to understand that, if they become so straight to answer, it might be mislead. For instance, it might spoil some future products… so they focus on their own company. That’s why I really like with apple, I know they are way behind from innovation, but look at them when they release an iPhone… every other company is trying to mimic some parts of an iPhone especially the camera module. I am currently using an iPhone and android… I really like my android phone, but there’s something with iPhones. Or maybe, since android is way more versions (due to different companies) it become a normal thing, and also apps in an iphone is way optimized based on my exp , then has a different lay out that I really like

As someone who has to wear a mask indoors when theres more than a few people, not being able to drink for 8 hours sucks. Lung disease don't care about whatever reason you want to be in person for. It drives me nuts.

The young woman asking the questions did not prepare any interesting questions. Most of her questions, if not all, have well-known answers or answers that you know Apple will evade. The guys from Apple did an excellent job of not providing easily twisted answers that she could generate controversy with.

I think the issue is open standards. Something can work better but be closed to Apple products only and that would not satisfy regulators.

Their reason is that people already have lighting cable and to save the environment?! 🤔Apple is now a luxury fashion company peddling fake technology propaganda.

I still can't understand whats the deal with usb c when they literally suck and go bad after 3 months of usage.

Good questions but bad format. All the best interviews are when the interviewer creates a trusting safe space with the interviewee. Being on a stage and starting with the (perfectly valid) USB-C question meant they were on the defensive throughout and didn’t open up at all. This is why the podcast format is so much better than the stage panel format.

The privacy stuff aged like milk.
