iOS 26 is a step waaay backwards in design aesthetic. It looks worse than Windows Vista - and a lot like WinAmp from 1999. It's just ugly, and is following Apple's death spiral. We live in an age where our eye desires simplistic elements, not transparencies and light shifting with the accelerometer in your phone. I installed iOS 26 and after 48 hours I had to back to go back to 18.5. Not because of bugs, but I couldn't look at the cheesy design "liquid glass" aesthetic. It's almost as bad as skeuomorphic icons. If Apple doesn't change this, I'll go to Android.

So how much battery drain will we experience with the new look and parallex effects?

Is there a windex app to clean the glass with?

They brought back Parallax Effect from iOS 7

I like the new photos app. I never changed mine back. It’s funny how the younger generation will tell the generation before it to prep for change when tech can change and it’s a love it or hate mindset. More so hate it.

Honestly it's not that big of an update for IOS, just a bit more semitransparent ui instead of solid white, icons look almost the same, way more restrained that it was hyped to be

I definitely need more resolution sizing to make thinks small and use the real estate on the screen. The current resolution feels fisher price like huge 😂

I just love all those Apple Intelligence features plus what I do without that liquid glass I mean plus that new feature in the maps totally awesome AND BRING BACK A FEATURE THAT WE ONCE HAD IS NOT A NEW FEATURE in all honesty I use to love downloading every new iOS beta now it’s like Apple went to sleep and don’t give a fck look at the iPhones of how they all look the same I miss the old Apple where they cared now it’s like give them new camera on the next phone and shut them up
