You know the bount arc decent when people keep talking about it.

You know the arc nobody talks about, new captain amagai arc, it was so uncooked and boring everyone just wiped it from their memory.

Fullbring Arc is underrated, especially from a storytelling point of view. It's not often especially with animes at this specifif point in time, thatbthe anime villains were just calculating masterminds/psychological manipulators rather than well rounded powerhouse that can solo 60% of the world. Yeah there was Aizen, but he could everything: he could scheme, fight, and plan. With Tsukishima and his leader, they couldn't just power their way through, everything was well thought out plan and trap.

I can see why you look back on the entirety of bleach, or even rewatch it all again and conclude the first arc was the second lamest out of them all. Now that inknow the anime i was keen on getting past it too, suprisingly. But i still remember the first arc the first time around and it was amazing and captivating and kept me hooked(mostly) and how it brough out the best of the soul societies arc.

Honestly, the first arc has been an absolute SOOZE. FEST. Even though I don't expect the first Arc of and anime to be a complete masterclass, but SHEESH I'm bored. I'm extremely tempted to skip and go to soul society, but I don't want to miss any important plot points.

I can understand why people dont appreciate the initial first arc of bleach but its actually goated among the big 3 arguably better than narutos early arc, cause at least in agent of shinigami we get to actually explore the world and characters...one piece does this too but to a bigger scale that unless your invested early, youll find boring...never heard anyone say syrup village is even close to peak for east blue.

I have read everything up until the end of Fullbring, and I love all of it. Including the first arc, I wish it had went on maybe a bit longer, it had such a chill and hip vibe. My favorite part is Hueco Mundo. The Aaroniero fight was so epic, so was Grimmjow fight, and the Ulquiorra fight is my favorite one in the series so far.

Since when was the first arc not enjoyable? I know, it’s slow and shit but what‘s been wrong about it? Imo nothing compares to the dog shit Bount arc 😄

The first arc is my favorite, and it should be the favorite of everybody who watched Bleach when it was brand new.

I was around the same age as Ichigo in the manga when it was first broadcasted on TV. And everything was hitting the spot for a teen. All the drama, the tragic or comedic themes, the atmosphere, it was all so good, and everyone could relate to somebody or something in one episode. Kubo really understood its audience.

And it was all because of this « boring » premise that the Soul Society arc was so great. Without all the prior interactions and bonding between Ichigo and Rukia in the first arc, the second one would just have been « random shonen hero with a big pointy stick going to save girl ». Nobody would have cared has much. I dropped a tear when Rukia was abducted by Byakuya and Renji. And when Ichigo got her back. And it made Aizen’s betrayal even more of a fucking stab in the back.

Anyway, first arc was the GOAT. Y’all late Bleach fans can’t understand that.
