I bake my cakes on stove in a vessel because oven is not working so i think it will take 1 hour

My cake turned out chewy (think Asian Kueh Lapis layered cake kinda texture) instead of the usual cake-y texture.. over-mixed the flour? I probably should have folded the flour in huh 🤔 The eggs I used seemed overly watery initially though. Couldn’t get it to become that whitish, fluffy texture you mentioned - it bubbled up a lot instead. Yours looked amazing though

I tried making this today, and when I added the flour, my mixture sort of collapsed and a really sticky mass sort of formed at the bottom! Is there something I might have done wrong?

I love marble cake. (1) Can you advise how much cocoa powder to replace dark choc. (2) If it is in liquid form, how much water to add to the cocoa powder? (3) Do I place the pan on the middle or lower rack of the oven? Looking fwd to hearing from you.
