What are your preferred lenses for your SL2-S?

Slowing down was probably what Leica intended. I went from Fuji to a Canon R6, and I hate it. Too many buttons and dials and no aperture rings. It's big and heavy, and I found myself searching for the controls to shot manual. In other words, it slowed me down. Why am I here? Because the Q2 keeps calling me. The money is there, but I feel guilty. Get over it?

that is an ugly camera. It is... I know it's a Leica.. but really when a camera company thinks Lenny Kravitz should be involved in the design of a camera... you know the design team is on vacation.

The thing with Leica is its expensive duh
You can invest same money on other camera like lumix,fuji, Sony and buy better camera gears like good quality lens
Unless you have great budget go for leica but if you tight on budget buy sony with better lenses
Remember good camera with great lenses is better than great camera with good lens

I once thought I was too poor to ever afford Leica but then I worked out that I was still spending a lot on miscellaneous 'cheap' cameras and I if I added up what I spent on them then it would be a lot in the long run. Long story short, set yourself like 5-10 years to buy one and you'll get there. Maybe.

Love your content! I’ve been shooting on and off for years and haven’t found the spark that really gets me going again. But I recently came across a Leica Q for about 1800$ I think that will bring me back to the love of photography again! Time to move the feets instead of the lense again.

Been using Leicas since the 1970’s. Haven’t gotten away from film. Just can’t get into digital yet.

I am struggling to upgrade my Nikon d3400 watching Leica videos. So yah I am priced out.

Any chance you can share your full setup (background, lighting, camera, lens, distance from shot etc.) during the desk narrating footage (with you in the cool orange/tan leather)? And...if its not too much to ask...(?)..a small piece of footage of this prior to your color treatment.

Most over rated cameras I've ever touched, out performed at half the cost. Its been this way since the Olympus 35mm OM1 absolutely stomped the Leica's since the 70s. Many brands continue to to do the same. Yes, even in build quality and performance. No offense to you AT ALL but these results aren't anything more impressive than your stellar work you've already done! It's still stellar, just no different than I've seen from your other kits.

But let me guess, that Gucci belt works better than an average 100% leather one, since it costs more?

They need an entry level option, showing what they truly have to offer. All they have now is the customer base of the most exclusive local coffee shops. The only job they accomplish with flying colors is making you somehow feel more important than the dude taking better pictures than you on his cousins Conon from 2010 he inherited. Brash I know, but we all know its true.
