A bowl does provide overall better sight-lines of the pitch. Thats why they are popular, but more expensive. As every seat is angled towards the centre circle. In a traditional stand if you are on the goal line of a sideline stand you spend most of the game with a twisted neck looking at the majority of the field.

Without doubt, it will be a Great Football stadium ... yet you are moving away from the area of Everton!

I was trying to work out what Spurs stadium reminded me of. As soon as you mentioned the US and then seeing it decked out for NFL,,,,It soon became obvious.

Actually agree with everything said.. Tottenham stadium is nice and all but it looks a feels weird

Spurs/Enic built the stadium this way to diversify and generate different revenue streams because without that a club cannot exist financially..Do you really think in this day and age that this is not a great strategy??
2 points I’d like to make are 1. You didn’t keep the old buildings on the dock because you wanted to it was because you HAD to as the engine house is listed so restoring it was a must. 2. Anything can look great in a CGI format.. I’m sure your stadium will be great if you want a bog standard stadium but compared to the spurs stadium it’s not even close and yes it’s located slap bang in the middle of north London BUT it also sits on the same site as the original white hart lane and as a fan that’s important to me..

Sheff Utd fan here: Initially thought there's no way the Everton new stadium can possibly be better than the Spurs stadium. However you make some good points, which opens up the discussion. I'll wait until it's built and operational before deciding. Looks something to be proud of though and will be the stadium used in the Euro's instead of Anfield.

Sheff Utd Fan. It looks like it really is going to be an amazing stadium. What many clubs fail to realise is that the supporters take a pride in their teams stadium just as much as the team that they passionately support. Goodison Park has served Everton well, I hope the new stadium does too.

Just a shame they won't have the likes of Southall, Ratcliffe, Sheedy and Sharp to play in it...

The Dell was an atmospheric ground for Southampton back in the day, I'm a Liverpool fan and I would go to the Dell in the seventies when I was in the army in Dorset, it was a cracking atmosphere whoever Southampton played

The old white heart lane ground was one of the best grounds I've ever been to for a closed in atmosphere.

Lad ....theres no better atmosphere than Anfield , especially on a European night , granted v's burnley , fulham etc its quite subdued, but when we turn up , the atmosphere is rivalled by no body , your new ground look great, but youll still not come close to our atmosphere, i swear ur like the little brothers that f%ckin annoy you , and want what weve got 😂 atmosphere comes from our hearts , and , our special stadium is recognised world wide , miracles happen there and we play our part , still in our shadow lad no matter where you move 2 👍 but still mate 🫶 hope yous stay up , premier league without the Merseyside derby won t feel right lad

The new Tottenham Hotspur stadium is a superb modern arena. I’ve haven’t seen anything like it. It’s a complete new build from scratch. It also has the large club shop in Europe.

Lovely stadium when finished but capacity should have been 60000 plus to show more ambition

There is no point in having a new stadium with out having a good team to play in it.

While our stadium was designed purely for football, the reason we're moving is purely financial. Criticising clubs for making money which at the end of the day will all end up in the players pockets seems pointless.

Liverpool could sell all their tickets to season ticket holders during covid. The tickets for these reduced capacity games when football opened up again had to be sold to local fans, due to travelling restrictions. Instead of selling tickets to local people Liverpool cash in on tourist fans. Despicable club , despicable players despicable fans.

This is what we need at Chelsea. 😊

Came for the clickbait… but honestly I love the design of Everton’s stadium.

I’m a Spurs fan, and the commercial revenue Levy is generating is great. But the stadium on the outside could have been so much more. The inside is good though, especially the south stand.

It’s great to see Everton actually getting something to be proud of, after so many years flirting with Tesco tie ins moving to Kirby etc.

Personally can’t wait to go to the stadium when done.

Was it not possible to extend Goodison Park?

Spurs stadium is one of the best for atmosphere. And because the stadium can host different events it means it makes more money which means it has an influence on spurs finances. Rules r changing in football which says clubs can only spend what they make. Evertons new stadium will make next to nothing compared to others affecting what u can spend. The future of football is multi use stadiums and everton will have an out of date stadium before it even opens

Atmosphere was pretty good when we spanked Everton on the last two visits to N17 😅

Tottenham is a super stadium...but,
Players cannot comfortably take a corner kick on the pitch....and I think it was even worse at the near completion stage and some modifications had to be made !

The location is only thing that this stadium will have over the Spurs stadium.
