Hy ... Joachim hier. Ich habe ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht wie du! Ich spreche nicht von Extremsituationen. Ich habe vor einem Jahr meinen Führerschein gemacht, weil ich eine selbstbestimmte Urlaubsreise machen wollte. Balkan, Türkei, Griechenland und direkt am Mittelmeer zurück über die Alpen nach Hause. "Nur" 3 Wochen. Aber ich habe so viele Eindrücke mitgenommen. Die Länder, die Menschen. Alles war anders, als es uns in DE erzählt wird und ganz anders als unsere Vorstellungen sind, ohne jemals dort gewesen zu sein. Jetzt weiß ich, was ich vorher vielleicht nur ahnen konnte. Ich hatte durchweg nur positive Erlebnisse. Aber ich war auch "nur" in Europa unterwegs. Ich kam nach Hause. Relaxt, entspannt, mit dem Gefühl wieder über den Dingen zu stehen. Ich war nur mir selbst verantwortlich! Und das war ein sehr erleichterndes Gefühl. Ich fahre die Rally Explorer von Triumph. Von Anfang an. Ich hatte vorher gar kein Motorrad. Und es war von Anfang an das gute Gefühl, die richtige Entscheidung getroffen zu haben. Ich fühle mich immer gut, wenn ich unterwegs bin. Manchmal denke ich, sie passt auf mich auf.
Deine Reise ist großartig! Deine Empfindungen kommen authentisch rüber. Ich mag deine Erzählung. Herzlichst ... Joachim

Ive rode from Miami to Thailand through Canada to London -> Europe --> Istan's --> Russia --> China --> Laos --> Thailand. I also rode Cartagena, Columbia to Ushuaia. Both around 20,000 - 25,000kms. I used BMW F850GSA for Thailand trip and R1200 for South America ride... Now I want to do it again -- I want Africa or South America again... Two questions; first, what is your height? Second, if you could do it again, would you take a lighter bike? Last, a Tiger is not a common bike since it has no dealerships in many countries -- would you take a Tiger again?
