Hello! So I have been trying to set up the webcam but when I go to go do it the devise for the webcam doesn’t show. Can you help please.

I have an Asus BE24EQK with the built in Webcam. My computer is using Windows 11 and I cannot see the Webcam in the device manager application. We are using a standard HDMI cable.

If you connect the monitor to PC/laptop via HDMI, to make sure the USB-C or USB-B upstream cable is connected for webcam setup.

I need help. I Have a ASUS VK278Q but when I open my camera it says no device found. I open device manager and There is no cameras there. I have my HDMI set up to my PC tower and can watch and play stuff just the webcam dont work. not sure what im doing wrong. My BIOS version is M.B0

Hello, I'm a MacOS user and when I tried to conect the camera they just like it just dosent like show it up, my monitor model is: BE279, i tried any ways and it dosent works.

Why would anyone connect this monitor that has a webcam to a laptop that has a webcam?

I am trying to connect the Webcam to my new MacMini but ca't get it to work. There is no USB-C output on the Asus screen so I connected the MacMini to the screen via HDMI.

I tried doing it but i get message that i need to be Admin to make any changes in device settings and its my office laptop so i cant have admin rights

I just want to make sure that the model BE24EQSK needs to connect #1 hdmi cable AND #2 usb cable. Model BE24ECSNK (w/ USB-C Docking) needs only #1 usb-C cable to work with compatible laptops.
Can BE24ECSNK charge my laptop with the USB-C at the same time? What's the output wattage. Any extra USB-C port and capacity to charge other devices?

If you’re running windows 11 your webcam won’t work.

Asus appears to not make drivers for windows 11 however it should work if you’re running windows 10.

Having said that I watched a review to see how the webcams perform and the results were really poor.

Speakers will work regardless of what OS you’re running however the sound quality is also poor.

I purchased 2 of these monitors for my office setup and was very disappointed with the purchase.

While I’m not against Asus as a brand I definitely won’t ever purchase one of their monitors with speakers again and I will never buy a monitor that needs drivers to run a simple webcam, that is just unacceptable.

Asus please do better!
