I once lived in a neighborhood where it was cheaper to leave your car doors unlocked, that way they didnt break your window. Crime during crack era was on another level in the projects.

What is the point of great cameras or Sentry mode this or that when the police will not even support you? I had a break-in at my apartment that caught on camera all the thieves taking over $3000 worth of things. I shared the footage with the police and they were able to identify them due to past criminal records...... but nothing else was done. Because it is just theft the police does not waste their time chasing this type of crime. This is why thieves continue to do what they do, there is no deterrent. They need to get caught in action, that is the only way.

After catching a thief myself from breaking into my car and holding him up till police arrived, the officer let him go shortly after because he did not steal anything. I have lost my faith in the "justice" system.
