Taiwan marks 110th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of China - News 360 Tv

Taiwan celebrated the 110th anniversary of the foundation of the Republic of China – which the island’s government uses as an official title – or Double Tenth Day, with a military parade and a martial arts display on October 10, 2021.

The event came as Chinese President Xi Jinping called for peaceful cross-strait reunification on October 9, 2021, in Beijing, and tensions with the mainland rose after around 150 Chinese warplanes, a record number made incursions into Taiwan’s air defense zone in recent days.
