So, basically, the Empire could have skipped the whole kyber crystal hunting and ruining a planet to get whatever the stuff is that they needed in Andor season 2, and just mount a water jet on the Death Star!

It's hard to overstate just how much energy a thing with relatively normal mass can have when moving at relativistic speed. Even ignoring the things that come with moving at those speeds, the most basic (and in this case fairly inaccurate because things very much change at these scales) equation for energy of a given mass moving at a given velocity has an exponent on its velocity. 5 squared is 25. 5 billion squared is a quintillion times that. So even without doing the math the ridiculous outcome of accelerating a gargantuan amount of relatively dense stuff to even moderately relativistic speeds should not come as a surprise. There is a common thought experiment on long distance space warfare based on that concept for that exact reason. The difference between an RKKV (relativistic kinetic kill vehicle) and what's being described here is that one has the mass of a high rise and the other has the mass of Niagara Falls.

So in theory, if we didn't accelerate the stream actively but just build a high enough dam to hold it untill the pressure was "naturally" high enough to theoretically burst water at that 0.25c trough a straw at the bottom of it to stop more water piling.... How high would it be? Does it fit our solar system or?

Gotta admit it would be cool to send water across a continent at +1000m/s with a lot of it for backpressure.

IF we would take giant chunk of space ice (Futurama style) and drop it in middle of previous Aral sea, how much ice would we need and what would implications be for climate change if we could make artificial glacier that big? Chunk would need to be enough to re-fill whole Aral sea area, which would probably take several decades to melt, which should technically cool area down, but would it be local effect only or would it affect the general climate as well?
