So, they knew people would fly off, so they put iron bars all up and down with a net on it.
That’s is what I call murder.
Shitterbrains, more like.
That is a whole lot of idiots in a row.
ОтветитьI’ve had a near miss with a water slide. I was very young, at Great Wolf Lodge. They used to, or still have a slide that has a drop that you take without a raft.
I fell out of the hole wrong, and hit the back of my head when falling into the exit pool. I was unconscious. Thankfully, my friend’s dad was paying attention, and got me out of there. The next thing I remembered, I was waking up, being carried from the water. I thought I died.
Rest in peace Caleb.
The design of this slide makes the engineer side of me cringe. The second hill is way too steep at the top, of course the rafts can go airborne.. and they did when testing with sandbags. Their solution? Seat belts and nets. THAT DOESN'T SOLVE THE AIRBORNE ISSUE.
ОтветитьI went on a big water slide as a kid and cut my hand pretty bad because I happened to put my hand on the sides for support but two segments were misaligned so my hand got caught on it as I went down.
ОтветитьIt’s Kansas. No surprise there. All they need is thoughts and prayers.
ОтветитьThe fact thought it was high was not the problem. The problem was the second hill and the netting held up by metal rods.
ОтветитьThe last time I was on a water slide was my last. I didn't know before getting on it that it suddenly dropped of into deep water at the end. Should have been paying attention to that aspect of the ride, but I simply wasn't. Barely had time to hold my breath at the end. Never again.
ОтветитьI'm looking at the water slide and I don't feel like it would take a mathematician or physicist to see the issues here... This is like something that would be thought up by a 5 year old.
ОтветитьThis guy brought his KIDS after a child was decapitated on this slide?
Do you know how fucking dumb you have to be to know what happened and STILL bring your kids days later?
WE BROUGHT FLOWERS DURRR
DIDNT FEEL RIGHT DUURRR
When I saw those nets I immediately saw the potentiall for intense injury if a dingy ever caught enough lift to become airbourne. They may as well have installed a gigantic metal cheesegrater over the length of the slide for all the "safety" that such a "solution" offered. The fact that a ten year old had to be decapitated for them to realise the error of their hubris is above and beyond unforgivable.
ОтветитьLittle dude in the blue life jacket. Only one talking sense on here.
ОтветитьI wanna tKe a ride on that :0
ОтветитьWhen you kill the son of a representative, kiss your career goodbye
ОтветитьMaybe they shouldnt have used metal as the protective fencing…like netting used in trapeze would have been better
ОтветитьAnd you know what? It’s the kids who are being hurt. You cannot assure me that the raft will not fly away leading to someone’s death. Especially if it’s a child sitting there, there won’t be enough weight to keep the raft from flying away. I think you should have made this an adult ride.
ОтветитьThat’s not funny. No wonder there are so many accidents. The raft flew up and off of the track and these guys are laughing. Stupid.
ОтветитьSeriously, you didn't need to be a genius to know the netting was totally worthless!!
ОтветитьThe slide should have been named IchBinTot.
ОтветитьAll the dopes represented here. Male dopes.
ОтветитьThat slide was extremely dangerous and this was bound to happen.
ОтветитьWaou... Your chanel rules ! Real footages, no stupid voice over with terrible diction, short format, straight to the point.. I can believe some random chanel make million of views with the same 2 or 3 pictures during 20 minutes of a painful description of an event with a boring voice. And who got the trash metal song at 4'33 ? Can't Sazam it.
ОтветитьThe owner was a stubborn selfish prick.
ОтветитьSad
ОтветитьThat little kid who refused the ride was the only person with any sense
ОтветитьPro tip: if your rollercoaster keeps leaving the tracks, that’s a big red flag.
That’s the one thing you don’t want to happen
This wasn’t an accident, they knew the slide was deadly when they built it. This video title needs to be changed.
ОтветитьIm actually more upset at the parents than the designers. Why would you let your child get on that?
ОтветитьThe amount of blood is shocking that poor child 😢
ОтветитьThere are a lot of lessons to take from this tragedy. One of the prime ones being, “Just because you CAN, doesn’t mean you SHOULD.”
ОтветитьIt's all fun and games until somebody gets killed.
ОтветитьYou know when you do something big and scary and you’re just clinching in terror in hopes that it turns out safe? It’s tragic that for this kid, he never got to have those fears relieved at the end.
ОтветитьThat black kid is smart
ОтветитьWasn’t a freak accident. It was easily foreseen. They had been having trouble for days keeping their test sandbags in the boat . Humans are dynamic unlike sandbags. And then they put hard rod framing in the safety net? I literally posted someone would die from this twice, which I never do, because it was clear! And someone did! Horrible.
ОтветитьSometimes you have to take some risks to get a head.
ОтветитьOw look, the raft flies out sometimes. Let's put a net there, so instead of flying out, they get there heads taken off. Humans will never cease to amaze me
ОтветитьThe fact that they had dozens of people of all ages reporting serious head, neck, and foot injuries, all of which they covered up, is disgusting. Then the owner acts as though he’s never heard of any of it. He’s a lying narcissistic meth head. Mix in the morons in Kansas letting redneck operators self-inspect and what do you expect?
ОтветитьThey needed one friggin engineer to be there and run the numbers. Sigh.
It says a lot about the history channel these days too.
Safety should be the first and only priority when designing these slides.
ОтветитьVerrücht !
ОтветитьTrumpers 101
ОтветитьThe editing of this piece gives me chills every time I watch it. Not to mention the brilliant and absolutely terrifying sound design that not only amplifies the horrific tragedy of these events, but highlights just how negligent and willingly ignorant the people who made this ride were. Rest in Peace, Caleb....
ОтветитьIt looked kinda fun tho.
ОтветитьThat is heartless to re-open a park after such a tragedy. I wouldnt dare step foot inside the park and having to witness the aftermath of a 10 year old's death.😞😤
ОтветитьI love how every one of these tragedies they're on record saying the experts are wrong. Just like oceangate.
ОтветитьIt wasn't a freak accident it was gross negligence in the design of the water slide.
Ответить
