AC LED Strip Light - Cutting and Connecting

We just install 3 long pieces in a commercial place
2 are blinking and we have done everything trying to make it work but no luck, very cheap connection every time we bent the connection it stay on

What happened if I cut forty cm ac strip light

How to connect another striplight on the other end

If there is a certain polarity that must be adhered to then I assume there is a rectifier converting AC to DC. AM I correct?
