is it hygienic to leave the cold tapas open on the bar like that and people talking around it? TQ
ОтветитьWhy is he the only on eating in the entire video?! It feels so weird watching the local ladies helping to guide him to what is best, yet neither of them takes a bite of anything! Feels surreal. Maybe too much influencer life, something I have been trying to avoid, but maybe just stumbled into by accident. Maybe just need to not see these type of videos...
ОтветитьI wonder what is that QUA ?
ОтветитьOh dear, this changes everything 😅 I thought Bilbao will remain a secret only open for the intrepid and accidental curious. Still, most tourists would find their way to Donosti San Sebastián. Good thing no one knows about Paisajes and Getaria 😂
ОтветитьStop sucking your fingers after tasting, and the small hot plates are not PINTXOS, they are TAPAS ! A pinxto must have toothpick through it.
Keep up the great videos. Salud !
Amazing food.✨ 🥑🥝
ОтветитьWow James. I don't know how I missed this one. What an amazing pintxo tour with those lovely young ladies. I don' know what they charge for the tour but regardles, well worth the money for such a wonderful experience. I've been to Bilbao and experienced some great places but not to the extent that you enjoyed with your guides. I really enjoyed this broadcast and very much look forward to the next one. Thank you for sharing it with us. 😀👍
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьHope to enjoy such a special delicate dishes , my gool is to be in such magnificent place arround May. In the meantime have a Wonderful New Year!.Fondly ,Almaa
ОтветитьSo damn happy you posted this video. Visiting Bilbao in early January 2025.
ОтветитьThis was a great video, james! My ancestors were from the Basque country and from Galicia!
ОтветитьEnjoy all those delicious fats! Cholesterol is necessary for brain health.
ОтветитьNot gonna lie, James… this video was kind of awkward. The guests you had did not seem into the video at all and it was a bit weird they weren’t eating with you most of time… seemed like you were forcing them to come with you
ОтветитьJust got back from Madrid where I unfortunately caught a stomach virus….still can’t eat but just salivating at this video
ОтветитьWhy are you worried about cholesterol ???
High LDLl cholesterol is not a problem, your body needs cholesterol to survive.
I'm eating a high fat carnivore diet and😊 have never been healthier.
Zero fruit, zero vegetables, zero grains, zero sugar.
🥩🍖🥓🥚
Fantastic video. Can't wait to try these places.
ОтветитьI think you got more of a basque women in this video that most of the average basque guy gets in their whole life
ОтветитьJames you should join a basque cuadrilla and visit a Gastronomic Society, enjoy cooking and learning from them, drink and eat like a maniac and have a definetly authentic basque experience.
ОтветитьColesterol is not a problem - it’s yet a big Pharma hoax.
ОтветитьI went to one of their cider houses. Man alive i was blown away! Deffo going back. Soon.
ОтветитьThe food in northern Spain is so good! I’ve traveled there and was blown away by the food and wine! I love Spanish food!❤️🙏
ОтветитьYou went to so many good bars. La Viña del Ensanche is my favorite. I order everything you did.
ОтветитьWhat in the world do you do if you dislike (or hate) one of the pinxtos? You have to be polite to the generous barkeeper.
ОтветитьRubia de bote coño morenote
ОтветитьTRIVIA FOR TOURISTS: in Euskara (Basque language) the word for champion is “txapeldun”, 'those who are endowed with a txapela (the betret)', because that used to be the prize for the winner in the contests, so.... 😊
More? Leaving mythology aside, the “sorginak” were women “healers” and “pythonesses” (fortune tellers). During the Inquisition they were persecuted and judged as witches.
You got that right, the paradise , as we call it, food from all over the world plus local delicatessen, lical great wine, amazing weather and beaches( and great mountains too) wouldnt traded for anywhere in Spain or France ( got both nationalities) Canary Islands , the best 🎉
ОтветитьWas in Bilbao last year and now after watching this video I wanna go back there again asap ! :)
Ответитьcan you add more spanish wording to your content? i love to learn more useful words i can use in spain. ps been watching you guys for years now
ОтветитьCan’t wait to check out the basque region! Moving to Spain early 2025 :)
Thanks in part to these great YT channels including this one. You guys rock
Hey James, thank you for another great video. We love your online food tours and we are long time followers. We have visited San Sebastian and followed your recommendations on a couple of occasions but never thought of Bilbao. We will now :). Just a tiny note on production, you've put background music on this video that I (humbly) don't think it needs and it actually detracted from the content when we were watching. Just out 2 euros worth :) Kind regards from London !
ОтветитьToo much fun! Good clear footage of food and descriptions were spot on. Hello from a very rainy Oregon US.
ОтветитьI still have so much of Spain to explore, but I really struggle to not keep going back to Basque country! The people, the food, the wine, the beautiful sights everywhere with the Ocean, mountains and the Navarre/Rioja! It's my favorite place on earth so far. I did not expect to enjoy Bilbao as much as I did...but these little bars to duck into when it rains are so warm, fun and delicious and some are super funky and cool! There is also a metro which is pretty handy and the energy is high yet it's relaxing there too with all the riverside parks and walks. The Pintxo Queens are awesome and hearing locals talk about their home town with pride is really great....like when you had Osane sharing her love for San Sebastian! Another great foodie/culture video by Spain Revealed!
ОтветитьI don't think Bilbao is underated, maybe not mainstream but def not underated. Glad you liked it 🫶🏻
ОтветитьAbur 👋🏼
Loved it 🥰
Are you ok ,?
ОтветитьWe went back in 5 days before Covid lockdown and returned on the day of Lockdown when flights were being cancelled everywhere.
We had the best time in Bilbao.
The Pintxos was sooooooo good.
So mant to choose from.
Gilda i could eat all day along with Beef cheeks and the Octopus.
The people were amazing.
Great places to visit and easy transport to the coast.
Visited many of the places you did to eat as 20+ more.
Incredible...
Loved the Txacoli and the Vermouth.
Once asked for Txakoli but in my English accent sounded more like chocolate.. hence a mug of hot chocolate served😂😂.
Looking forward to returning.
Goodness. I wanted to jump right into this video . 😊
ОтветитьTasty food...how's the weather in madrid spain right now?
ОтветитьI see it is understood as not as popular as large city tourist spots, less promoted icw madrid, ibiza, valencia, barcelona and malaga
ОтветитьOh I 100% need to visit Bilbao ASAP
ОтветитьHi planning to visit Spain in December . Do you recommend traveling end of December ?
ОтветитьI came as a 10 year old to bilbao from Australia to visit family in bilbao back in 1985..it was a rough looking city compared to now..and to be honest I didn't like it at all..now it looks amazing and will definitely go back to see the changes..
Ответить👑🥇💪🏻🇪🇦 ésto el 🌎 letrinoamericano no lo entenderia
ОтветитьFabtastic tour of Bilbao!. Thank you so much for this one James.
ОтветитьHi James I love your Spanish videos and this is another great one. However I'm wondering why there are so few videos on Zaragoza. I believe it's the 5th largest city in Spain but seems to be largely ignored. I fancy a visit there but I'm interested in your views, if any. Maybe put it on your possible for a future video. Keep it going.
