To Keep the fuel pump clean, add it. To keep" injectors clean add it. To clean a pocket watch, dump it in & wait til tomorrow. P.s. after opening up the tank of my 91 toyota ( at the time it was 27 yrs old) the tank was pristine') the original electric fuel pump finally died

I did an engine flush on a truck …one quart of mystery oil and the rest regular 10w30….removed the sludge and crap it had…tan it for 10 min…then did the oil change again….works wonders on old fuel pumps

Marvel Mystery Oil is a part of growing up, aside from using it, I lived in Port Chester NY for a while and my local motorcycle shop was across the street from Marvel Mystery Oil and up the block from the old Lifesavers candy factory.

It works! Been using it for years in all my storage fuel 2oz per 5 gallons and un my trucks fuel tank. 8OZ per fillup mostly Winter Time. Truck outside. Pulled my Ariens Tecumseh carb bowl down yesterday
Perfectly clean. I do use it in conjunction with Stabil products in storage fuel as well. Its been around all these years because it works!

Hello My Friends
I once bought a 1959 single can VW truck that had been sitting for many years. The valves and lifters were all gummed up and sticking. I drained the old oil. Put fresh oil in the engine with a bottle of Marvel. I also put some in the gas. After a few miles everything loosened up and the engine ran fine. After a day or two I changed the oil again. That truck ran fine for years. Marvel oil is also good for laying up steam equipment as it doesn't seem to dry out. I dose the cylinders and valves of my steam locomotives when shutting down. The next time you run the engine you get that lovely Marvel oil smell.😎

I've heard hard core racers say that it can't be beat for storing an engine for the off season by spraying some into the sparkplug holes and turning it over a few times. No scratches in the cylinder walls from rings when first cranked after sitting a while.

Hey good day, I have used marvel mystery oil since about the mid 1970s. I am only 68 years old :-) lived breathe and worked as a mechanic most my younger life and still do stuff for myself and others on occasion and blah blah blah. But I have always sworn by the marvel mystery oil. have you been put it in automatic transmissions in minor doses and it seems to really help on the older trucks 80s 90s whatever. As well as I would use it as a floor, wax, a cake topping, and even drink a shot if I knew it would help that.🙄😬😳🙃😂 thanks for this, you’re the man! Learned something new about it today! Keep up the great work stay well. Have a beautiful day.👍👍👍🙏

I've used this on a couple of planes. 4 ounces in the oil and 2 oz in the fuel and then go fly for an hour or so. It does work.

You have to be careful putting too much of this stuff or seafoam in an old engine.... it can also break loose too much crud and clog the oil pump or worse.
I've seen engines ruined when too much sludge was flushed through the system.

Do you think it would be better to use a JASO-FD spec two stroke oil as an additive for gasoline; compared to Marvel Mystery Oil?

Because that's what I do in my car.(which is almost as old as I am)

marvel mystery oil has a decent amount of naptha in it, naptha cleans paint brushes and is a solvent , and why marvel mystery oil is good in mower , weedeater etc gas to preserve carbs that sit with gas in them ,it slows varnish residue of gas from ruining carb parts . about 1/2 ounce to a tank full ,run it for a couple minutes and then turn it off .

Originally designed for WW I aircraft. I dad was one of the original founders of the PVTA , Pomona drags. I was raised around Marvel, STP and transmission fluid for additives. Sea Foam does a nice job too. Preventive maintenance works the best...

Started delivering gas to gas stations in 98. Mobil's tagline was 'Drive your engine clean'. Then BP bought Amoco, Exxon and Mobil merged, the amount of additives in gas got cut in half. I've hauled gas for 6 brands and they are no better then unbranded generic fuels. Except premium, it has up to 6 times the additives as regular, my point is any additive will help your fuel sysytem. All fuel I haul has 10% ethanol (Federal Gov takes 5 cents fed tax off per gallon if added, so all regular has it in it. Some terminals will sell premium without it for folks with chainsaws), so this lubricant will help with keeping rubber seals plyable and not hard from the ethanol.

This can be used as a lead replacement for old engines. During the war they used it to break in the aircraft engines. I have watched it have a positive effect on small engines when added to the gas. If you are having problems with an engine running roughly, try adding some of this to the gas. Hope this helps.
