I’ve loved watching your videos but as a die hard bike fan, please please please do not stand up, going downhill on what is essentially a gravel road, low centre of gravity is what you’re wanting man or as what happened, the front wheel will slide out on uneven ground but I loved to see you right back on it. Hey Mike! When I would ride dirt bikes on (race track or desert rocky trails) the main key is to not slow down in a sticky situations. Going faster will help you not crash. It seems counter intuitive, but in order to get out of a "Rut" you need to speed up. Only times I have ever crashed was because I was going slow. Be confident and never hesitate. once you hesitate you crash.

On Christmas eve night, into Christmas day in 2017, I took a local bus up to bokeo from that main touristic french city (forgot name) that has the famous waterfall. It was.......... hell lol. I also took the slow boat down the mekong to get back down and it was terrifying lol. I was too weirded out to get back on the slow boat the next day so i ended up taking another local bus back down to the area I needed to go to.... and i was stunned at Laos off the tourist track. so many amputees and so few resources.

Watching your journey through Laos makes me laugh and cry at the same time. Thanks for your bravery. I been there twice within the last four years but I knew that I was being watched due to my skin. Laos is never safe for a Hmong man to travel without a tourist guide.
