Thanks!
ОтветитьWhat is the URL for this fabulous video?
ОтветитьThis was a great presentation of how to use Chronicling America and their new/improved Beta site. I'm looking forward to using it and the other site you mentioned for pictures too. I haven't had much luck on that newspaper site but I'll try your tips and maybe I'll have some success now. Did you use the free version of Chat GPT? Thanks Aimee! 🙂
ОтветитьI love Old Fulton Postcards, but it is a challenge to navigate. Would love to see you do a video on that topic!
ОтветитьI got alot of genealogy information from "Wiki-tree" ... ❤
ОтветитьI have tried Chronicling America several times and it is just a struggle to fall in love with it. Thanks for showing us another avenue.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьThanks for this video
ОтветитьAwesome video! Thanks for the head's up on the beta site. Will definitely give Chronicling America another look.
ОтветитьThis site might help me find information about my maternal ancestors.
ОтветитьLooks like they don't have anything for Marshall County, Oklahoma. Marshall County just seems to be behind on a lot. (Edit: Nothing in the new Beta search as there seems to be no newspapers from Marshall County listed. The Marshall newspapers 'are' listed in the new newspaper directory search, but nothing in Chronicling America Beta. Bummer.)
ОтветитьI have seen this episode before but maybe I had it on the TV and didn't pay as much attention. Now I'm really listening and I Like It! Thank You Aimee 🤩
ОтветитьWow! That's a lot of information. Lol. I will have to watch your video again when I'm on there.
I've struggled so much in the past trying to use Chronicling America. I'm so glad they are making a new site with better search functions! Thank you so much for this demonstration!
Love that you hit on Delaware as my family is from there, mostly in Kent County as well. I will be trying out that site and hoping to find stories of my family. Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you Aimee….great information and extremely helpful!
ОтветитьOh my gosh, I can't thank you enough for this video. I found an article about my grandfather's cause of death. The death certificate had the cause of death purposely obscured (I found out this was common practice if you didn't show "proof" of relationship for genealogy, so frustrating). This article was labeled "Compensation for Widow", as it was a work accicent. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!
